Hey Hawkstar! Here's our chat thread :)

Are you reading anything interesting right now?

Hiii! I'm super excited about this chat thread :D

I just went to the library today, so I got a bunch of new books including Paola Santiago and the River of Tears, Children of the Stardust, and Momo Arashima Steals the sword of the wind. These ones really looked cool, and sounded cool, so I'm excited to start them. I also was reading some Babysitter's club graphic novels, which I'm probably a little past the age group, but I still enjoy rereading the books and graphic novels. How about you? Are you reading anything interesting?

What sort of music do you like? I like pretty much anything, besides most country, most rock, and all heavy metal. Some of my favorite artist are BTS, Madonna, Taylor Swift, and a BUNCH of others. The list goes on and on ;) I also like music from musicals and movies

Do you have any short stories, or are you writing a book? I have several book ideas, though I don't know if I will go through with them all. One idea, though, I am condfident it will go through. It's a trilogy idea. The first book has 105 pages so far!

Do you have any pets? Or if you don't do you want one? I have a family pet, a boxer lab mix dog named Bailey. He's getting pretty old, he's got to be almost 12

well, that's enough for now. Read you later!

Nice! I like the Babystitter's Club too, although I've stopped keeping up with the graphic novels. Sometimes I look at one of the older ones though, or watch the show. I didn't read many of the books (I don't own any, so I had to borrow them from the library), but I remember loving Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls. I might check it out of the library again to give it a reread. Right now I just finished a book and I think next I'm going to read Six of Crows.

I love all kinds of music! I don't like most country music, although there are few exceptions - Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swfit's earlier music, Brandi Carlile, and Jason Isbell (though those last two are sort of more americana) are the main exceptions. I especially love alternative music, show tunes, and rock. I love how guitar sounds, both acoustic and electric. I also like listening to instrumental music and lofi. I myself am a musician (or at least, an apiring one)! I sing in my school choir and take keyboard lessons. I'd love to learn guitar or drums as well, one day. What's your favorite Taylor Swift song?

That's cool! I'm currently working mostly on my ski lodge. I'm thinking after I write it I might make a sequel and a spin-off, but first I might take a break and write something else for a while. What's the trilogy about (if you want to share, you don't have to)?

Yep, I've got a dog! I love taking my dog on walks around my neighborhood.

OMG I apologize! I thought I hit submit, but I guess I didn't :/ and now I have to write it allll again *sigh* and try to remember what I said...

Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls is a really good one! I actually think I have it... somewhere... I also liked the one where the whole club went to California. I don't remember what it's called? but it was really good. I actually recently dicovered the graphic novels, and even though I've read the books, I like them having pictures. Even though I'm 14, I still like looking at picture books XD

Six of Crows? I've heard of that from here. Tell me how it was!

I can play the keyboard too! kinda... I don't know how to read music, so I mostly play by ear. I also play the kalimba, which is also called a thumb piano. I can sing but do I sound good? not even remotely. Do I care? not really, I just enjoy doing it :)

my favorite song is probably Our Song, or You Belong With Me. What about you?

Daisy wants to be an EarthWarrior, just like her grandma, and her dad. She doesn't know her dad at all, due to the fact that he went on a mission for FAWE Academy when she was little and never returned. But when Daisy goes to school, she finds that her father has left a trail for her to follow. With the help of her friends, she struggles to keep up and follow. There is also someone at the FAWE school that shouldn't be, and they are trying to stop Daisy from finding her father. On the way Daisy and her friends encounter lots of secrets, most, that should have been left that way. Secrets. Join Daisy Elkins on this twisting journey, filled with magic, adventure, friends, betrayal, and mystery. Will Daisy find her father? Or will the infiltrator stop her before she can succeed?

That is my summerary, I think I did okay with it. I actually finally hit the part of the book that I imagained when I started it, and so I've been speeding along now.

What type of dog do you have?

And how many AE's do you have? I have 7 :/ They'll pop in briefly to say hi-

Aaah I'm sorry for the wait!!

Cool! I'm learning music theory right now, and technically can read some music, but not very fast.

I love You Belong With Me! I like a lot of her songs, but I'd say my favorite albums are 1989, Midnights, and Lover are probably my favorite, at least right now, but I also like folklore.

Your story sounds really cool!

My dog is a mutt.

I have 4 AEs and a CAPTCHA right now! Here they are:

/CHAI!! She/her!\

Callum, he/him.

*~Indigo, or Indy, she/they.~*

Um, so, hi. I was thinking about this today, and I realized how lax I was about this thread. Usually, I'm pretty good about not fading away with group chats, it's usually the other person, but here I am...

So, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to try again? I'll try a lot harder to keep this thread alive, because you are an amazing person, and I want to get to know you better :)

Yay! That's fine, I've been pretty behind with replying to... I'm catching up today, though.

Have you read anything fun lately? I'm, quite unfortunetly, completly fresh out of books. I just moved, and we haven't bought a house yet, so all of my books are in storage (besides the ones I've already finished) but my birthday is in a few days, so I'll most likely recieve a few more books :)

What's the weather like where you live? Here, it's pretty chilly, but it's been sunny. Clouds right now, though. No snow, but...
