i'm probably not the best person to respond to this because i don't listen to a ton of pop music, but i listen to an artist called Dayglow who's sort of indie-pop. maybe you'll like some of his music! my personal favorite Dayglow song is called Balcony; i definitely reccomendations it :]

I'm not a huge pop dude, but I do like a good indie pop. I fully recommend The Happy Fits, COIN, and Glass Animals as more upbeatbands, but if you want more laid-back, I think Good Kid, Strawberry Mountain, and the Mellowells are all really good choices.

no problem! i'm not sure exactly what kind of music you're looking for but Once Upon A Paradise by Daniel Thrasher is a really nice piano piece I listen to sometimes. I also recommend music from the Legend of Zelda games- particularly a song called Gerudo Valley and most of the Zelda songs by daigoro789. also "theme of really cool bird" by bobacupcake and pretty much all of the In A Time Lapse album by Ludovico Einaudi.

Thanks for the suggestions!

@Fallen Leaf, love ALL your suggestions (even the ones up there), listening to Discovery at Night right now it's really good, Gerudo Valley was awesomeee, I LOOVEDDD theme of really cool bird for reasons I can not say except that, yes, it is indeed "really cool", plus the animation was so cutee. In fact, loved all the recs! Love all the CBers' taste in music in general cuz so many awesome songs I would never have known about without y'all thank youuuu!! :DDD

go listen to Martina McBride. especially "This One's for the Girls" and "Wild Angels."

oh, and "Rayando el sol" by Maná is really good, and 100% pop music, unlike McBride's music, which, although super good, is not 100% pop.

turkish pop is also wonderful on occasion, but i can't remember the name of my favorite turkish pop song... anyway, you could try "Soz Verdim" by  Aysegul Cozkun.

i have...more indie rock recommendations. lol.

obviously anything rainbow kitten surprise. but specifically 'when it lands' and 'all's well that ends'

the linda lindas!!!! amazing band and their members are really young too--ranging from 13 to 19 i think--which is super cool. my favorite songs by them are 'claudia kishi' and 'oh!'

lovejoy is really good, and i suggest listening to other songs besides 'call me what you like' because I know that one is really popular. i like 'portrait of a blank slate' and 'consequences'

Also if you like pop, I also suggest the Happy Fits, listen to 'so alright, cool, whatever' that's a good one. I lovelovelovelove conan gray right now, although he's more bedroom pop/indie pop. 'the exit' and 'family line' are my favorites.

Anywayyyy that's all I have right now! These are basically the artists I have on repeat right now. Lol.

ahh I love growing up by the Linda Lindas!! It seems so many ppl here know about them (you, Lupine, someone else I think... totally not me stalking all the music rec threads from a hundred years ago...)! I only learned about them after I got invited to go watch them live XD (but they were AWESOME, I got to take a photo with one of them!)
