I am 99 percent sure it will go down in history as this, so that's what I'm calling it. Well, yesterday a terrorist group fired missles at Israel from the Gaza Strip and started a full-on war. This is a thread to discuss it. Please keep the Israeli people in your prayers.

Oh, I just read a news article on this! It's horrible! And on a holiday too...

prob not popular opinion but I always thought it was kinda messed up George Washington's like, one successful attack was on Christmas Eve, when there was a kinda maybe truce going on. I mean, I understand you've gotta do what you've gotta do, but once you cross the line, there's no going back, and.. well.. it just seems kinda... I mean.. *sigh* humans and their wars...

I just recently heard about it, and some people referred to it as Israel's 9/11 moment since the group targeted civilians. I really hope the fightings and tensions go down between them.
