Missouri got snow too, and I was off, but only for one day, while most schools were off for two because it was to cold for kids  to wait at the bus stop and the roads were too icy. But I still had to walk home! Brrrr!

Ann, my dad lived in Frankfort (a town/city near Chicago) and once the snow was piled so high that he sledded out of his second story window...  he lived on a corner where the snow got piled up.  My grandma still lives there, and I don't even know if she knows about the sledding out of windows...

OK. I live pretty far up north so I am SO used to snow.  We have 14 inches where I am!

Oh no, no,no,no no. It does not. It snowed last year, but only like an inch. But before that it hadn't snowed and stuck to the ground since I was like, seven.

Oh my gosh, yes!!! It has been snowing like mad here.

I already got out four snow days (we still go by the school district's schedule on those things...). :D :D :D

It's literally the most snow I've probably evver seen here. Very pretty, but sometimes hard to get up our steep driveway. ;)

It snowed for 1 day here in Texas. Like you, I was overjoyed and created a thread to show my ecstasy. It's at the back now, of course...

We had no school twice last week because of snow. We have much snow, but right now it is only really cold. Two days ago it was about -26, and a few days before that it was about -32 with the wind chill. But it is warmer this week! (20-30 all week!)

If you look at my 'location' you'll see I'm far from snow...  Today the high was almost 70!!  With lots of sunshine.  In sunny CA.  My tree is happy at least with the rain we got yesterday.

Snowed a little here in the valley today, and the mountains have gotten plenty. Good for skiing, that.
