So... I guess
So... I guess around this time would be my one-year anniversary of being on the CB. That is exciting to me. It makes me nostalgic. We've gotten many new people since I came on. Ann, Leaf, Alexa/Olive, Lovely Mathilda, Ima, I think R~D~ and Megan, maybe I'm wrong, and many other cool people. When I was having a fight with some of my friends like eleven months ago, coming on here was reassuring.
I've become a more well-rounded person due to coming on the CB. I read books I'd never had even heard of, and they became some of my favourites, and I found music I'd never listened to, and I now listen to it almost every day. I participated in NaNoWriMo, and probably will fahevah. I got internet email buddies (Adina and Jen), and found new things to obsess over. Using Inkwell has dramatically altered my writing style, for the better. I'm more open-minded about things like politics and religion, and I'm nicer and more emotional.
I'd say more, but I have to go to dinner and I'm getting cheesy.
Anyway, thank you to all CB'ers, and the Admin! Love you!

Aww. This makes me smile. The CB has pretty much done the same thing for me. I love it how whenever something unpleasant happens in my life, I can come here, and you guys will always be here for me. And I've met so many people I'll probably talk to my whole life, even after the CB, like Maggie and Jenni and Emilie and Grace. And haha, my e-mail buddy Refinnej told me she e-mails you. (: But anyway, I'm so glad you've been here for a year, and the CB would be quite bland without you.

I've experienced many of the same things listed here, and I'd like to thank everyone. Without the CB, I wouldn't be the same person I currently am, and I'd also be much lonelier, not having more than one friend outside of here, and that one being rather distant. I just don't know what I'd do.
And everything I'm saying is coming out as awkward and... *decides not to attempt to describe it further*, so I suppose I'll stop, but my gratitude is genuine. My own one-year anniversary is coming in April, I think, and maybe I'll be better at expressing myself then. Who knows?

I have no idea how long I have been on here. How do you guys remember? I would have to find my first post in order to find that out, and that is simply out of the question, because I would probably tons of other threads to look at and it would take me about 7 hours to find mine. I don't exactly remember when my anniversary was...September? January? Who knows, but I'm sure it passed. I still remember the first time I posted - it was on something in Inkwell, where someone was fretting about writing the Great American Novel, and TNO (umlaut) said something about flushing their GAN down the toilet or feeding it to their goldfish. Then Paige/Kenzie saw my post and said hello, and mentioned how she was from Florida too, and I've been here ever since! I'm just so thankful for the Chatterbox, Admin, and my fellow Chatterboxers. So...*clink*!

As I said before, I think it's been almost a year for me.
I've made so many great friends who will last me a lifetime (Maggie, Candle, Egi, Mary Liz, Pirocks, and others) and seen others leave over time (XirTalleB, Aliza..).
I've come here in times of trouble and happiness to find comfort in the words of my friends.
All of you, old and new, I am happy to call my friends. Thank you, Chatterboxers, Admins, and Webmasters.
Without you all, I'd be an entirely different person, and probably a less happy one, too.
