Let me explain. I got my braces ripped forcibly off my face today! That part hurt. So did the grinding off of the glue once the brackets had been ripped. So did the gross yogurty cement they put in my mouth. Actually, that just made me strain my gag reflex muscles from trying not to choke. Now my teeth look huuuge, and they feel gross, and I look like a rabbit. Great for Easter, right? The orthodontist place gave me a bag of all the stuff I couldn't eat with braces but did anyway. Right now I am eating a tootsie roll. Tootsie rolls are kind of gross, with their brownish hue and such, but tootsie is an awesome word and I enjoy owls. My gums are so puffy! Weird! At least it's in time for my birthday. I didn't tell my sister or my brother, so when they come home they're going to get a wallop of surprise!

Well, at least you got your braces off.  When I got mine off in the summer before fifth grade, I felt the same way.  I felt like my teeth were sticking out really far and it was so weird!  Now I have braces again and they're so annoying.  Oh yes, that cement. *laughs evilly*  When they put my braces on for the first time in fourth grade, they said, "Don't put your tongue near the cement we're putting in your mouth; it doesn't taste very good."  I thought, "Ok tongue, don't you dare move near that cement."  Of course, tongues seem to have minds of their own, because sure enough, it touched the cement.  It was HORRIBLE.  I don't think I've tasted worse.  So I see what you mean.

Your birthday?  Oh!  Happy early birthday!!  (Wait, when is it??)
