Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I feel really

I feel really bad for my friend right now. Her mom has cancer, and is going to the hospital for a treatment for 3 days, and there's a 50% chance she might die. I feel horrible, and I don't know what to do really. But I'm just wondering, can anyone pray for my friend, her family, and her mom? If you can, or help in any other way, on behalf of my friend, thanks. Sorry if I'm making anyone sad right now.

Yes, we'll pray for them, Olive, and we'll focus on the 50% that recovers. There are better and better treatments for cancer all the time. Please tell your friend that your Chatterbox friends are supporting her and her family, too.

Yes, Admin is right.  There are tons of new treatments coming out for cancer all the time.  Hopefully one of those will help your friend's mom.  In the meantime, try to comfort your friend, because she'll be emotionally weak.  Try to have fun with her and take her mind of of her mom.  Of course everybuggy at Chatterbox will be doing their part to pray for the family.  I definitely will.

Of course I'll pray! And remember, the glass is half ful,l not half-empty. 50% is a big portion, so there's huge chance she will live.

I'm praying too for your friend's mom.  My friend's mom also had cancer.  Last summer her chemo treatments ended.  When she had them she was really tired, and so my mom and I and our friends helped her out as much as we could, in little ways.  Just being hopeful and helpful can help you get through this time.  I'm praying for her recovery.

Yay! That's wonderful! Excellent!

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. If I had, I definitely would have prayed for her.

Is she coming home early?! Have you learned yet?! Will you tell us when you do (learn)?!
