As to the first question, assuming you mean Apple's iPad, obviously they released it to (a)compete with netbooks, and (b)because it's cool and they know from experience with the iPod and iPhone that people buy things that they think are cool. Money Dear Boy (or Girl, as the case may be. Don't mind me, I'm troping).

Regarding the second question, I've never heard of Joey Pigza, sorry.
