Sounds great! *sigh* I start school tomorrow, my first year of high school, and I am epicly stressed and nervous and so not excited. I admire your optimism :D Normally school is something I'm excited for, but not so much this year. I already have an escape plan for if I get locked in a locker :D

I'll be thinking of you, Koffee. You won't get locked in a locker! You'll do fine.

Aw, thank you Admin :D I'll remember that :D In spite of myself, I am a little excited now that I've talked to all my friends to, you know, reassure myself that they haven't all transfered to some other school since I talked to them five hours ago...*headdesk* Normally I'm not this psychotic, I promise ;D I'll think about you guys tomorrow :D

And let us know how your day goes when you get a chance.

School starts so outrageously early in the South. It's so annoying. My sister started back the first Monday of August, which was the 3rd (I think). I started homeschooling again August 16th.

Woot! No major melt-downs occured today :D The only issue is is that my locker won't open...at all. But that is small potatoes :D All of my teachers are really nice so far, and the day went super. I totally thought about you guys :D

I was thinking about you, Koffee, and all the other Chatterboxers starting a new school year. I'm so glad your day went well. Thanks for letting us know.

I'm in my 3rd week. I like 7th grade and my locker is............ bearable.  I like most of my teachers, though I don't like all the homework. Wink I'm in volleyball and cross country, and I have a meet tomorrow and a game Monday. Better go, math test tomorrow. Undecided

Ooh, good luck in your game and meet! Lucky you that you can run cross-country in 7th grade. My school doesn't let you run it 'til high school, though of course I can't run it now cuz of my fat knees, but that's beside the point :P My first week has been going pretty well...I finally got a locker that works, but now I'm in the Senior hallway which is just plain *intimidating*. Though the locker right next to mine is one of my good guy friend's older brothers, and the Senior class president. So that's okay, because he's nice. Lots of homework, though :P

I'm starting to rethink the whole optimistic thing.  I tried out for basketballl and made it (11 got cut!)  but now I swear one of the other players is out to get me. :P  I don't like her.

Also our first dance was yesterday and I enjoyed it 0%.  Everyone was going crazy over the boys and running around while I felt out of place.  Luckily my two friends were able to secretly comfort me seeing that they had no buisness freaking out over boys.  (Thanks!)  That was the good part especially because one if those friends is on the basketball team so we had something to talk about besides how crazy everyone else is :)

Writing this made me feel a whole lot better so thanks for letting me ramble on and on again :)

I just started my first year of high school as a homeschooler.  :P  But I did decide to do cross-country for the high school and am LOVING it!!!  SO FUN!  Thank you Koffee, you really helped encourage me to do this!  (I made a thread about it and you commented on it :)  So, yeah.  Thanks.

Omigoodness! You are so welcome!! I'm so glad that you decided to do it :) It makes me feel better to know that there are still people out there who love to run like I did :D (Love you my distance buddies <3 That means you, Q :D)

Oh I do.  I'm just so happy I'm doing it.  It's also getting me involved with the high school, which is another good point because as a homeschooler, that chance doesn't come around much.  The only bad part is, I went on vacation (see my thread about it) and so I now have to get a full ten more days in a row of practice before I can run in a meet.  So I'm missing 3 meets because of this and then the next couple after those are for Varsity, so basically there's only like 2 or 3 more meets for me to run in. :(  But that's okay. *sigh*  It's just getting the experience and getting in shape which is what I want.  :)

I homeschooled, but I started the same day as the the public schools on the 18th of August. School is not exciting, just normal. Th summer flew by so fast that it felt like we never had a break. Now excuse me I G2G do geometry!

My school started on Sept. 9th and i am now in 7th grade! I absolutly love my school! I have been going to it since 5th grade (Jr. High start). My teachers are awesome and I have friends in my class even though my BFF isn't in my class :( . We have HW, which isn't that cool, but I love school, so it's not that bad. I am in the Student Council (called ASB) and I am in soccer and art and horse riding. I love all of it!
