Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Heyy. This is

Heyy. This is going to be a slightly awkward thread to make, because I haven't posted since *cough* July.

Ima internet stalked me :) on my blog and sort of... brought that to my attention. So I wanted to make a thread for that, because, you know, pretentiousness is how I roll.

I still read stuff on the CB sometimes, but I really can't make the time investment that I used to. Suffice it to say that I've been really busy and a lot has changed since June. It was a really hectic, confusing, and moderately awful summer (my summer has a Ph.D in horribleness ;D), but everything is kind of falling in place now. *is finished whining* So there's that. I had a Totally Awesome year'n'a'half on here, and I really grew as a person. So thanks to everybody who's made me feel welcome and exposed me to all kinds of cool things, and to the admin for being uber-shiny.

I hope I'll still be able to drop in and say hi every now and then, and if not I will never forget the CB :) I've also made a lot of RL friends on the CB--- I email with Adina, Jen, Ema, and Koffee, and I'm actually going to *physically meet* Adina and her cool brother Eugene in a few weeks. So in that way, the Chatterbox Dream is coming true ;)

Which brings me to the next stage of pretentiousness... if anyone ever has the urge to contact me, I check the NaNo and Screnzy sites regularly, my website is listed there, I'm on Facebook, and my email address is probably floating around somewhere on the internet. So that's about it... I hope I explained okay. I'll miss all of you :)

I'm not really sure how to respond to this. So my comment will pale in comparison.

I'm sorry your summer was awful but it sounds as if was important, too. Life-changing, even. And I wanted to tell you you'll be missed. I also wanted to thank you for brining your voice to the CB for a year and a half, and for making me feel welcome when I first came here. You were te first to comment on my first thread, I think. I'll go and check that. But now is not the time for my ceaseless ramblings. I hope whatever happens after this is good for u. Your writing is amazing and your a smart, funny person whose helped me see the light on certain matters. Thank you, and goodbye.

Once again, sadness.  why do you guys all just keep leaving?  You make me feel kinda stupid that I stay, but I'm not going to just ditch CB that easily!  I don't come on here everyday, sometimes not every week, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving.  I still check in, and post every-so-often.  It's a shortcut on my desktop.  I click on that and my email and check them both.  I know, that's so hard. /sarcasm/

Okay, I'm sorry.  I don't know why I'm frustrated.  It's just all the old-timers are leaving  *tears*.... and it feels like they're leaving me personally.  But I'll get over it. Especially since some awesome people are coming back... KIMBERLY!!!  :)   Sorry.  I don't know if there was a point to this post.

I can't really call myself an old-timer, but I have seen and been through a lot of stuff on CB, and I have seen a lot of people come and go. I know that everyone on here is someone I would like to befriend in real life. I'm honestly tearing up right now. Even though it's probably only the onions, and I'd hate to ruin how sentimental it makes everything seem right now..

Congratsi on getting to meet Adina! And goodbye. I'll try to find you on NaNo, and maybe, when the faithful day comes that I get Facebook, I might try to find you there too. Goodbye. :-)

Bye, ML. It was nice getting to know you for a year and a half. You are a very good writer, and your sense of humor will be missed on here.

But, life goes on, and I understand that this just doesn't fit into your life anymore.

You will now be counted among the "old-timers" everyone misses. :)

See you!

Hey Mary Liz! :) Thank you for at least posting to let us know you're leaving, I always think it's nice when buggies do that; that way, we know why they're not posting anymore, and we don't think they vanished. ;) I'm sorry that your summer was so awful, I'm glad things are getting better. I hope you'll stop by and say hi once in a while, but even if you don't, none of us will forget about you. You'll always be one of the "old timers". :) It is so amazing that you're going to be meeting another Chatterboxer! I'm actually friends with Maggie S., Paige/Kenzie, Grace, Bellatrix/Trixy & Emily L. on Facebook, and I'm pen-pals with Grace and Mary Jo/Frances. I actually met Grace & Mary Jo in person, and it was so fantastic; you are going to have a totally awesome time with Adina. :) Hee, hee, The Chatterbox Dream....I like that! :) Maybe I'll be able to find you on FB or Nano sometime, I think it's really cool that some buggies found your blog. How did they manage to do that? Anyway, we'll all miss you & as I said before, we'll never forget about you! :) *hugs*

Ha, ha, well, all three of us are Catholic, and we didn't know it but we were all getting the same Catholic magazine for girls! The magazine isn't being made anymore, but it still has a website, and the website has a pen-pal section; you could give your name, age and a list of interests & girls could ask the website Admins to send the girl's address if they wanted to write to them. Well, over a year ago, I got a letter in the mail from Grace! She had seen my name on the pen-pal page, and assumed it was me. :) Several months later, I got a letter from Frances, aka Mary Jo! :D It was so cool! Last June, we were in GA, and I found out that Grace and Frances are actually pen-pals with each other too! :o So, we sent a lot of e-mails back and forth, and decided we would meet up at a Six Flags theme park. It was amazing! Along with the three of us, my siblings, 2 of Grace's cousins, and (of course ;)) some of our parents came with. It was so amazing seeing them face to face, it didn't feel akward at all-we already knew each other so well. :) It was a really awesome day! That pen-pal section of the Catholic magazine is so awesome, I have 4 pen-pals because of it! :) I wish I coule meet all of the CBer's face to face someday! :)

Mary Liz!!!! You're back!! *hugs* WHAT?! Are you seriously thirteen?! I remember when you were 11....wow. Our childhood days. Lol. It was so incredibly awesome meeting Kimmie and Grace! That's so cool that you're going to meet Adina. Chatterbox is so awesome too. Just now, I'm calming down from all the excitement from a week with my cousins (aka the most awesome people in the world. I don't know what I'd do without them). Sorry. I've used the word awesome too much. It's such an awesome word. :) And if you ever get an email from someone named MJ, you'll know who it is.
