Hello, fellow string

Hello, fellow string players! Anyone else out there play a stringed instrument? I play the violin myself (Hmm. Go figure). I have to admit there are a ton of violinists. Violists, where are you? The world needs more violists. I'd probably learn myself if I wasn't too busy already.

Is anyone else learning the Kabalevsky Concerto in C Major? I'm about to start learning a movement of a Mozart violin/viola duet as well.

I'm a violinist, Emma. Right now I'm practicing Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony for an upcoming orchestra concert. Yes, we always need more violists.

Admin, are you one of the editors or something? I keep seeing your name pop up everywhere, but your messages don't show up the same way as the others.

Anyway, it's cool that you're a violinist. I like Mendelsson's music, at least what I've heard of it.

Question for everyone: Who is(are) your favorite composer(s)?

I like Bach, Vivaldi, and Mozart a lot. And Grieg. And Gustav Holst. And pretty much all of them. : )

Yes, Admins are part of the editorial department. (There are usually three of us.) And one of my favorite composers is Dvorak. Of the ones you mention, my favorites would be Bach, Holst, and Mozart.
