Nutcracker Ballet!  I

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Nutcracker Ballet!  I

Nutcracker Ballet!  I am dancing in The Nutcracker the CDT is presenting.  Year number five!  I am a soldier.  Right now rehearsals are starting to get more serious; actually they're all serious, but now we're having them more than once a week.  Next week: Tech and dress rehearsals.

So, has anybuggy else performed in a Nutcracker?  It doesn't have to be a ballet.  Just wondering.  This probably should've gone in PP, but I'm rarely on there.

Spamers says khnd.  One letter short away from kind!  How come I never get a word?

I've played violin in the orchestra for The Nutcracker several times. I only get to peek at a very tiny bit of the dancing when I have a few measure of rests. Most of the time my eyes are glued to my music and the conductor. But I purchased a video of the performance one year and I've watched that. One of my friends was a snowflake last year.

I've never been in The Nutcracker, but I think I saw it when I was little, and I have some Nutcrackers, and a Nutcracker snowglobe, and the book! I really like the book.

I don't have a book on it.  But I've pretty much figured out the story by the programs and rehearsals.  When there is nobody else to hang out with, usually I end up watching.   Rambling again, oops.

That's so awesome Charlotte! I've never performed in that before, but I've seen it many times! I hope you have lots of fun, tell us how everything goes! :)

I am a soldier also, and this is my eighth year! This year is... interesting, mainly because we keep teasing 12-year-old Fritz about him liking one of the clowns. ;) Then several of my soldier/mouse/clown friends (C, K, B, A, A, and S) keep teasing me relentlessly. ;) This year the 13--14 year olds (and one 12-year-old, B) are going to be so hyper backstage. XD I think I'll bring Pixie Stix. *grins evilly*

Elizabeth-That's cool! :D I'm super sorry if I'm wrong, but you know Charlotte in real life, right? If so, that's really awesome. :)
