Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Has anybody had

Has anybody had an experience where your mind like isn't in your body anymore?  I did the other day.

So, mom was canning, and evidently our gas stove was giving off some carbon monoxide fumes and I was trying to sleep on the couch because of a headache, but mom told me I needed to eat something before we went to Gramma's.  So I got up and started dishing myself up some applesuace and I don't remember any of this but I dropped the spoon (I found it on the floor later) and I could tell I was headed back to the couch but if felt like a dream kind of and it's all fuzzy.  When I got up from the couch a while later, I thought it had been a dream, but there was a jar of applesauce and a plate on the counter (and the spoon on the floor. I didn't notice it until I stepped on it).

Anyone else?  Spammers says ofmi.  Off me.  I'm not even on you!

Last night my brother was having a little temper tantrum (Oh yeah he's 16 :), and my dad was downstairs telling him to calm down and stuff, and I was in my bed thinking I was awake. I was dreaming I was awake and I kept talking to myself in my dream, and aparently I yelled "Yay daddy!" Then I woke up from my dream, and I kept talking to myself again and I was saying all the same stuff as I did in my dream.  O.o  ??

I know that's not really the same kinda thing as your's Charlotte but I just had to say it! :)  (:

If you're talking about stuff like sleep talking/walking, I once did something like that. It was about 6:15 in the morning and I was positively exhausted; I got up and dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. There was a raspberry cake sitting on the counter that my parents had brought home from a party the night before. My mom was telling me how great it was and then she walked out of the room. Without realizing what I was doing, I stood up, walked over to the silverware drawer, got a fork, went back to my chair, unwrapped the cake and took a big bite. Then my mom walked back into the kitchen and I dropped the fork into my lap with a guilty look on my face. It all of a sudden dawned on me what I had just done and I burst out laughing. :D Lol.

Once after I finished eating dinner, I took my plate, and walked into the bathroom, and sat on the toilet :D

Yes, when I'm very tired in a strange/different place, I have this weird feeling that I'm slightly disconnected from everything. Like, if I touch something (let's say a wall) it feels like I'm touching it, but in a dream or from farther away or something. And when people talk to me it feels like they are talking to somebody else, but I can still answer them and know that they're actually talking to me. It's very hard to describe. It's like I'm unconsciously zoning out or something.

Anyway, yeah, kind of like being disconnected from my own mind/body? Usually goes away after a little while though.
