Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Everybuggy always has

Everybuggy always has fun with things like this. There are two things you can do.  First, Wordy Gurdies!  Grace (I believe) made a thread for these before and I found it quite entertaining.  The answer to the hint must rhyme and the hint and answer must both be two words.  Example:

Hint: Feline Cap.

Answer: Cat Hat.

Get it???   Here is my actual one: Gluey Mouse.  This is kind of hard. Please guess away!

Also, secret messages!  I am going to write a secret message in a question form.  You must decipher the message then post your answer to the question.  Here it is:

ejsy od pm upit nrftpp, g;ppt  ?

You can answer mine/post your own!  With your secret message, there must be a way to decipher it, say, you choose to end every word with a certain letter: Helloy!  Howy arey youy?"  See?  Please enjoy!  :)

This sounds really fun! I can't figure out the Gluey Mouse, but I'll get do the coded message:

Og oy odmty s;trsfu lmpen O sm sndp;iyr;u om ;pbr eoyj [rtvu ksvldpm smf jsttu [pyyrt@@@@@@

Can I play? I think the gluey mouse must be Sticky Mickey.

Re: Gluey Mouse: Sticky Mickey? (as in Mickey Mouse, dunno if it's right just the first thing that came to mind)

Re: ejsy od pm upit nrftpp, g;ppt?: what is on your bedroom floor? (I didn't get it until I typed it out, actually, I was going to say "I have no idea" and then I looked at the keys again and was like, ...wait. Which is quite impressive for me, because I've been working on a Beowulf essay for FIVE HOURS straight now. ugh. /digression)

As for the answer: rii nyxg aryddm [tab]yurw de[capslock]bjkt.

Mine:

I have a wordy gurdy I'm rather fond of (because of Sondheim. That is my only excuse.), only the riddle isn't two words but rather a phrase. I hope that's all right. If not we'll just say it's a normal riddle the answer of which is two words which rhyme and mean the same as the riddle itself.

Anyway. The hint: "tired and ostentatious self-destruction"

Also, coded goodness:

Whobat, obin yoboobur obopobinobiobon, obis thobee mobeanobing obof thobee phrobasobee "obit's oba cobatobastrobophobic sobucobess"?

(meaningless question, I know, sorry. but the second to last word looks so cool that I couldn't resist.)

Goboobod throbead, by the way. ;)

*poke poke*

Maybe it will go to the top?

And to prevent this from being Pointless™, here is the first sentence of the current draft of the essay of DOOM in the same code as I used previously:

Obat fobirst globancobee thobee obepobonobymobous hoberobo obof Bobeobowobulf obappobears tobo bobe obas gobood obas hobe clobaims.

TNO's code:

I think I know the answer because a few years ago I bought a code book, but I don't know yet, so let's check it out.

Ejnsy...No... Qgiv'...No... Argh!!!!  It's 11:30 P.M all right?!!!!!  (New year's eve).  Snltzg...no!...Xn...deffinitely not.  Wait aminute!!!!!! What, on your opinion, is the meaning of the phrase "it's a catastrophic sucess?"  Yes!!!!!!!!

Sticky Mickey is correct!  And TNO, you got it, too!  ZB, I figured yours out... but it doesn't really make sense.  Are you typing the letter directly left of the actual letter?  Because if so, there are a couple words I don't quite understand...

I used to be super pro at speaking ubbi-dubbi.  I really could talk in it at a normal speed.

Yes, I can speak Ubbi Dubbi at a normal speed as well. The problem is, no one else but my sister understands it.

This looks like so much fun! :D I can't think of a code...I'll think up a Wordy Gurdie to post though! :)

Spamboy Andy says cbtb-he mentioned CB! :D

There's an online translator for Ubbi Dubbi, for anyone interested.  It is on the Zoom website.

All right, for a Wordy Gurdy.  Drumroll please...

Hint: Watery Idea

And a coded question:

Rtr shx evq ms Phdrs Exdrs?

That's kind of a compound code.

@Analesia: I can't figure out your secret message.  I've been so hooked on it, I haven't even tried your wordy gurdy.  Any hints???????? :)  And TNO, same with your wordy gurdy.  I can't figure it out.  Man, I'm bad at these..... so don't ask why I posted this thread!

Well, I can tell you right now to use your code, then decode.  It has two parts to it.

@ANALESIA@

P.S.  Has anybody seen Wolfgirl67 post lately?  I can't find posts by her.

I don't remember hearing from her in a while.
