Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Well, I'm just

Well, I'm just going to say it.

We have two litters of four-week-old Labrador Retriever puppies.

One is all black with six girls and three boys and the other has three black, four yellow and there's like three girls and four boys I think.

Anyway, usually by now they're outside, but not this time because it's been really cold outside.  So, that means they are old enough to climb out of the pool and now they're not crying when it happens, they're exploring.  I'll walk in the kitchen and there will be one under the toe kick or they'll be nursing their mom on the other side of the room.  It's really very obnoxious.

Random thought:  Why do I get pessimistic whenever I read one of TNO's posts?

Negative. Gloomy. Cynical, despondent, and depressive. Hopeless, despairing, fatalistic, defeatist, distrustful, bleak, and doubting. Downbeat, dark, suspicious and distrustful.

Thesaurus overload FTW!

Basically, you're gloomy and you expect the worst.

I don't know why TNÖ does that to you, Charlotte. All she ever does to me is weird me out, make me laugh, and make me feel inferior (when I read her writing). Other than that...

Pessimism is GOOD.

That way you're always right, or pleasantly surprised. Either way it works in your favor.

EW has told me that, but Optimism is better because no matter how bad things get, everything is still good!  Oo!  I just got an idea for a thread!

@Elizabeth M: Because she's a far better writer than I am.

@TNÖ: Hey, I consider myself extremely pessimistic.

Aida says "xmaw" which is almost X-Mas.

I spent most of this morning trying to keep one puppy out from under the rolling laundry basket because there's mouse poison under there.  But he refused to stay put.  Anyway, now they're peeing all over the florr then getting back in thier pool.  Soooo, that means the wood floor's a mess.  The other litter isn't too bad, but they're three days younger.  So, just give a day.

We've got two people coming out to look at puppies today, maybe they'll pick one.  They can't leave they're mom yet, but that means my mom may get a deposite, which would be good.

Charlotte, that is so fantastic! I adore puppies...well, I actually love any baby animal. ;) I hope you have lots of fun raising them and finding out their personalities! :)

@ Kimberly: Yeah, probably will.  They're usually pretty fun.

Anyway, we've sold a black one, but he won't go home until march.  His name is Chappa now (at least, I think that's how you spell it, the person was Japanese, I think).
