I also love Little House! I have to say I've often sided with Mary, though, even with the reason she gives for it. :P

Yes, most of the people form other countries are from either Canada or England, but we do have one from Haiti and a few various other places (including Germany now!:)

Hi. *is the one from Haiti*

I never really liked the Little House books, and I only watch the show because it's fun to make fun of. Also, someone should totally write Little House on the Prairie in space. It would be so cool - just take the whole shebang, put it into outer space. A little family is going out of our solar system, leaving Earth to make a new life on some other planet...

Yes, I live in Haiti.

Is Thulcandra a made up place? Oh and are you Haitian? (Or whatever.)

No, I'm American.

Also, Thulcandra is the Silent Planet, i.e. Earth. It's from Out of the Silent Planet by C. S. Lewis. (Which is an absolutely wonderful book.)

Oh, I get it... How long have you lived in Haiti?

Oh dear...Little House in space?  Wouldn't that be something like Little House in the Final Frontier?  Ah ZNZ, let me know if someone writes that - I'd love to read it.... :)

Really, ZNZ, you're from Haiti. I never knew that. If you're American, did you live there all you're live, or recently move there. Sorry for the interrogation, just wondering.

Wow, I used a Vocab word: interrogation. I'm so proud of myself, I'm not good with vocab :D

Welcome, Elizabeth! I love the Little House books as well, though the TV show is terrible; I am definitely going to write that fanfic sometime, though it may have ot wait till summer.

I believe the TV show doesn't have a lot in common with the book...

I was born in Haiti, and have lived here pretty much all my life. My parents are missionaries.

@Ima: You mean Little House in Space? If you do, then will you post it here? Pretty please?

Yes, I definitely will. I'll have to do some research beforehand, though; I don't know much about space, let alone how far the human species is likely to have gone technologically 60 years from now (Little House In The Big Woods is 'Once upon a time, 60 years ago,' so I'd want to parallel this).

@ Elizabeth: No, it doesn't, because it isn't technically based on that book. It's based on The Long Winter, which isn't even about Laura (though it's written by her); it's about the childhood of her future husband, Alfonso Wilder. It was always my least favorite in the series. I did still like it, but the show is much, much worse.
