Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Has anyone heard

Has anyone heard of/done Wonderzone, Bible Bee, or Awana? Oh, and who is homeschooled? What curriculum do you use?

I've never heard of those; what are they? Well, BiBle Bee is kind of obvious (and sounds fun), but the others? I'm not technically homeschooled, but I'm virtual schooled.

Wonderzone is a fun website that I go on. There is a Bible Reading Club (BRC) on there that I am in. We read a chapter of the Bible every day (we're reading through Psalms right now) and comment on what we learned from it. It's a lot of fun. Sort of like on here, but not exactly. I have a bunch of friends from the BRC. Just like I'm making friends here. :)  Bible Bee is sort of like a spelling bee except for you have to recite Bible verses and references instead of words. AWANA is a "club" that I attend. I know many churches around the world have it at their churches. We play games, and learn and recite verses. Lots of fun. Hope this helps! Hmmm...I've never heard of virtual schooling. I'm homeschooled!

Yes, what are they?  I'm homeschooled.  My mom kind of makes up her own curriculum. :)

Hmmm...Admin,

On the front page (where it lists the name of the thread, the name of the person who started the thread, and the name of the last person who commented), next to this thread, it says that there are three comments, but when I clicked on it, there was only on comment (Ima's comment). Do you know what happened there? Could you fix it? Thanks!

I'm not sure why that would be...maybe I only posted Ima's and then got off before the other's had posted.  In that case, they should all show up by now. -Admin

Oh, I see! I already read the Bible in 3rd grade (yes, all of it) and my church doesn't have AWANA (probably because I'm not Baptist), but still, they both sound fun. So does the Bible bee; I'd like to do one of those sometime.

That thing with the comments happens quite often. When someone comments, it automatically shows that they did, but you can't see the comments until it's moderated.  It's perfectly normal; I'm glad it's that way because then you have an accurate way to know how many comments are on a thread.

I have never heard of any of those, but they sound fun. I am homeschooled. My curriculum is Kolbe Academy which I just started this year.

It is not just Baptist churches that have AWANA, both E Free churches near where I live do it. Some of my friends attend those churches, and their younger siblings do AWANA.

I go to a Lutheran church though, which has WINGS instead.
