Summer! Okay so

Summer! Okay so I only have 13 days of school which I'm guessing is about the same as most of you. (Except homeschoolers...) Does anybody have any amazing summer plans?? Are you planning for a relaxing summer, or a summer filled with camps, trips etc?? For me my summer (as usual) is as busy as I can handle with swim camp, water polo camp, basketball camp, actual outdoorsy camp, and my golf and soccer leaugues.  I also am probably taking a vacation and possibly (and hopefully) taking a few trips to visit my cousins!! (I don't see them much)

What about you though?? What are your summers like??

Yes.  Except homeschoolers.  Last year we only finished the school year in the first week of August.

I'm homeschooled so I don't know when exactly I'll finish school.  Hopefully by late June.  Well, my summer plans:

~Cross country training starting in late June.  Every day of the week!

~Drivers Ed.  Not sure when, but I need to take it!

~Our Parish summer camp in June.

~My cousins are coming for ten days in July.

~My grandma is visiting sometime in July, also, and I might go into Canada with her.  Might.

And that's all I know about so far!

I'm virtual schooled, and I finish June first. I'm going to Massachusetts, and I'm going to feed birds at my local wildlife rescue place, and I'll go to church camp, but other than that, I'll mostly read. It'll be nice to have unlimited free time; I found a large stash of potentially interesting nonfiction books lying around in the house that I'd love to read.

I finished school last week. :) But, we had fairly minimal breaks this year.

June: Driver's Ed and Annie simultaneously until the 26th. Then the 29th we leave for our big East Coast trip, which will involve spending large amounts of time with cousins from both sides of the family.

July: Return from East Coast sometime in the second week, I think by the 17th or 18th. Then hopefully a week-long theater camp, but likely not as I'll be told being in Annie is enough for one summer. (Insert sadness here, because this is probably the last summer I'll be this involved in the youth theater. I mean, next summer I'll be seventeen. Eek!)

August: A few weeks of relaxing with the family, swimming with friends, and making some short films. Then back to school again second or third week!

Hmm, looking at this my summer seems really short.

@Ima: What will you be doing in Massachusetts?

I've an aunt who lives there, and we want to visit her. We'll spend most of our time in Boston and Cape Cod; I've always wanted to see a rocky beach, and we can go whale-watching! I'll also meet some MuseBloggers who live in the area. We'll also spend some time at historical places in Salem.

@Ima: Wait.  You've never seen a rocky beach?  Man, come visit me.  It's all we have 'round here!  We go to Orgeon when we want sandy beaches because they're not existent where I live. ;)  I've been to Boston!  I loved it there!  I've also been to Gettysburg.  I think you'd like it there if you like historic places.

Yes, rocky beaches aren't existent where I live, only sandy ones. I'd love to go to Washington; I might next year.

Detc says dine! I guess he'll be eating a lot over the summer.

I am homeschooled so it's usually not a specific time that school ends. I think though that I will be finishing in late June or early July.

These are my Summer plans: make a 40 or 50 book book list to read throughout the summer; practice tennis with various friends and siblings to get back up to scratch for next semester; have a few volleyball parties at my house; see the three or four movies that I am interested in seeing that are coming out this summer; go to the beach frequently; possibly go to Austin to help my cousins move; have cousins over here and go to the beach with them; go on bike rides frequently to the library and Snow Beach (It's the best snowcone place anywhere and I don't think I'm exagerating that much); possibly go coming for a weekend; practice archery; clean; try new recipes and try them out at possible dinner parties; take my sister up to college.

I think that's it. Not really any big plans. Mostly a lot of little stuff around home, but that's really the kind summer I like. I find where I live an extremely wonderful place. I really want to get a job, but I don't think I will be able to until I'm at least fifteen. I might also help my sister plan her wedding. Probably not.

Tell your sister congratulations for me!  (I'd love to hear what her dress looks like...)

(Go coming for a weekend?  Did you mean go camping for a weekend?)

She doesn't have a dress yet, but I think a friend is going to design one for her and help sew it. I think it's going to be like Princess Grace's wedding dress.

And yes I did mean go camping. I didn't even notice that when I went back over it.
