Yeah, I like ice skating...  I have a question: do most of you figure skate or speed skate?  I knew how to figure skate when I was like six, but I only learned to speed skate this year.  I prefer it to figure skating; you can go so fast!  I felt like a total idiot on my try.  I mean, two-year-olds were going WAY faster than me and were skating like they were born on skates.  I was so embarrassed!  Canada being the hockey capital of the world, most people learn how to skate really early.  Both my uncle and my dad (not to mention all his brothers) were hockey players.  When my dad skates, everyone stares.  Big chubby guys say, "I used to skate like that..." and try to do the same, but usually end up huffing and puffing and red in the face.  It's sorta funny, really... :):)

I state every year at least ONCE!!! (Or sometimes more!) I love it!

I go ice skating about twice a year, and it is so fun! (Actually, I just went yesterday!) Yesterday I mastered skating on my right foot only for about 6 seconds. Fun fun fun! I didn't fall either.
