Quiz!

Here are a few questions, just because I have no idea what else to write:

1. Which character (in a book not your own) would you change places with for a day?

2. Which character (in your own book or roleplay) would you change places with for a day?

3. Which famous person in history you would like to meet and why?

4. Ben-Hur and Titanic are the two movies that have won the most Oscars. Which do you think deserved them more? (I know you think I'm obsessed with this if you've read any other of my posts, but come on, people like to talk about their fav movies!) (Also, this question is not mandatory, if you've never seen either or don't have an opinion, don't answer it.)

5. What is your highest level of ambition (in life, writing, or anything else)?

Here are my answers:

1. Maybe someone exciting, like Katniss Everdeen. Although, if I switched places with her, I might not fall in love with Peeta.

2. Probably Minerva, because she is a fencer, is the daughter of the ruler, and gets to compete in the Trials.

3. William Shakespeare. I want to ask him how he got all his ideas (after all, I don't think he had much to copy in those days.)

4. Ben-Hur. Okay, I haven't exactly seen Titanic since I'm only twelve (even though I've seen the trailer and read every book about it) but I still say Ben-Hur. A, it's based on a book, B, it's Christian, C, there's not much romance, and the little bit there was, I could have done without.

5. Probably become a New York Times bestseller for one or most of my books. Otherwise if that's impossible, just getting one books published would be super cool. And if that's impossible, just to finish my two trilogys by the time I'm twenty.

1. Ummm, probably Pippin Took from LOTR or Deryn Sharp from Leviathan

I've got the famous person figured out: See Nicolo Paganini and hear him play. I found out about him from the awesome Cricket story!

Nicolo Paganini would be so cool!  He is my favorite string player, even though he didn't play viola.Cry  Everyone should play viola.  Except upright bass players, you are great too.  I really want to play the Brandenburg Concerto by Bach where NO VIOLINS ARE ALLOWED!  That would totally rock.

I saw the Titanic trailer again to analyze and really, it was waaaay to romantic. I really can't stand how Rose got so all over him and asked him to sketch her. Hello?! Nude?! Weirdly enough, I liked Cal. (Sorry) And the end was just so over-sentimental. "We're going to die!" That seems like a superfluous waste of breath. And perching on the rail: "This was the place we first met." Aren't there other things to think about other then kissing? Ditto on Cal chasing Rose and Jack through the waterlogged ship. (I'm sorry, I can be mercilessly satirical). When I actually think about the plight of everyone who died in the sinking, I feel quite sorry for them, but when I think about the movie...I roll my eyes. (Except when I think of Jack's looks.) :)

@Tiffany W.

I think the whole romance thing is the whole point of the movie.

@Melody:

Yeah, but still, I...don't really do excessive romance. But the Titanic is still super book material... I'm taking some of it for my book.

(Yay! Thirteenth birthday on the ninth! (Sorry if I typed 12 before. Force of habit. :)))

Happy Birthday, Piper, and many happy returns.

1. Which character (in a book not your own) would you change places with for a day?

Someone on the Discworld, probably. Maybe Susan. Or perhaps Agnes Nitt during Maskerade? ...Or Adora? Or, assuming I got access to her considerable knowledge and experience, Lady Margolotta. Or Angua, provided it wasn't full moon. Or *head explodes*

2. Which character (in your own book or roleplay) would you change places with for a day?

Maybe Bartholomew?

3. Which famous person in history you would like to meet and why?

Uh. Uh... The fangirl in me is screaming STEPHEN SONDHEIM!!!!11!1 right now even though that's nonsensical because he's still alive, because he's a genius and I would ask him ALL THE QUESTIONS and he would be snarky and self-deprecating and probably condescending back and it would be SO AMAZING.

But, as I said, he's not really historical. Because... still alive. And frankly not really famous outside of theatrical circles.

So... I dunno. Georges Seurat maybe, although as I understand it he wasn't much of a conversationalist outside of PAINTING!!!!11!1 but still. He painted my favorite painting ever.

I have seen neither. Have a cookie.

5. What is your highest level of ambition (in life, writing, or anything else)?

*points, wordlessly, to Broadway Baby from Follies

4. Ben-Hur and Titanic are the two movies that have won the most Oscars. Which do you think deserved them more?

Never seen either. It's so weird, I've never seen The Titanic. I'm like the only person I know who hasn't.

5. What is your highest level of ambition?

One of two things: Either a New York Times Best Selling author, or an actress.
