Chatterbox: Inkwell

Welcome! I am your host, Magda S.'s bro, and I have a cool story to tell you all! I shall begin when this sentence is finished.

Setting: The floating city of Metoopolis

Time: 2038

Characters: Bob the Cavedude, Rudger Kilobyte, and some new ones I haven't invented yet, since I'm making up this story as I go along.

So, in 2038, as a reward for building a time machine and bringing Bob the Cavedude to 2038 to save Metoopolis from a giant chicken (it's up to you how), Rudger Kilobyte had been awarded the post of Chief Tech Guy of Metoopolis. So, one day, in Metoopolis, Rudger was fixing some dude's TV service. "I HATE IT WHEN I HAVE NO TV!" the outraged man had yelled at Rudger over the phone. As the Chief Tech Guy, it was his job to fix stuff like that. It was also his job to build mind-blowing stuff... like his time machine, the robotic helpers that seemed to know what everyone wanted, the giant robot that had nearly destroyed Metoopolis (another story)... and a new TV cable for this guy. He worked away at fixing it. It would just take a couple seconds, this was a simple job... he told himself, when his Holo-phone rang.

He answered it. A holographic image of another guy appeared. He was in his underwear and a tailored shirt, and he looked thoroughly annoyed. "I put these Super-Pants in Tranparent mode and now I can't switch them back!" he complained. "I'll be there shortly," responded Rudger. "I'm already helping someone else." It was going to be a long, long day...
