Build the mall!
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Build the mall!
Build the mall!
I came up with something really cool, inspired by the trend of adding virtual features to the virtual Corner on the Corner thread: We can build virtual locations, just like over there! In case you never got to see it: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/113242
So, here, it's much the same. But we are building a MALL!
I'll start: The mall needs a Starbucks, a Target, and a Gamestop. Plus an Apple Store and a food court, where us CBers cook the food. I have began operating the food court and am looking for chefs and cashiers to hire. Anyone who would like to be virtual workers in the virtual food court (or the virtual anywhere else in the mall, for that matter) please apply here! Also, help add to our menu. So far, our menu consists of:
ITEM |
PRICE
|
French fries |
2.99 |
Curly fries |
3.99 |
Pizza (please inquire for available toppings) |
5.99 |
Cole slaw |
4.50 |
Quinoa and hummus wrapped in seaweed (please inquire for flavors of |
2.50 per seaweed wrap (available in ones, twos, threes, and fives) |
Five-bean salad |
6.50 |

@ JDD: how much money do we start out with?

I made some (awful!!!) drawings on the computer of the menu items. Enjoy!
More to come later!
All drawings by Yours Truly, WritingWarrior.
Princess of Spamalot says Gran. Perhaps she's going to visit hers.

Weird, the French fries aren't showing up on my end. Click above the curly fries and they should appear in another tab.

More (awful!!!) art!
All "art" created by WritingWarrior.
Order up! *flips pencil menacingly*

More doodling. All "art" by WritingWarrior.
Hey, Stickfiddler, our mall should have an amusement park!

If you click on the picture, you'll see the full image.

We need a map of the mall.
(July 22, 2013 - 9:10 pm)
Back to the top, little thread! Anyone want to make the map?
(July 24, 2013 - 6:45 am)
I'll draw a map if I can figure out my problems with picture hosting sites. Also, can whatever bookstore it is sell used books? I like when that happens because then the books are cheaper and you find books that are out of print.

This is a test of Image Hosting. Admins, if this is a link, it may go to just the picture, not a website. I'm not sure how this is going to pop up yet. If it pops up, this is Gemma from SSE.
P.S. WritingWarrior, your picture is currently my lock screen for my iPad.
Sorry, Melody. The link isn't working.

Gah. Let me get onto an image hosting site that works and I'll make a map. Unless someone wants to make it before me.
(July 26, 2013 - 10:00 pm)
I recommend using Blogger. I simply insert my pictures into the post editor, copy, and paste onto my Chatterbox post.
(July 27, 2013 - 7:21 am)
Oh, and thank you, Melody, for making my doodle your lock screen. I'm honored! I've never had my doodles as a lock screen before! *blushes*
(July 27, 2013 - 12:28 pm)
I'm making a list of everything we should put on the map:
General Stores
Starbucks
Target
Apple store
Gamestop
"Bookstore Alley" (since there are three competing stores):
Barnes and Noble
Borders
Independent store
Food Court
Eggs and Oatmeal
McStickfiddler (or whichever restaurant serves the menu items I illustrated)
Other
Chatterbox Cinema
Amusement park (with roller coasters!)
Help desk
Watermelon's thread hospital
Escalators
Random garden-y areas
WiFi Stations
Anyone else have anything to add? Do you want your TCCP stores in the mall?
(July 27, 2013 - 1:26 pm)
Here are a few stores I thought of: Music store, clothes store, shoe store, toys store and so on (I could go on forever!). I don't have names for the stores (I am not creative when it comes to names), and I am not sure if you have any of them yet.
I seem to write on all the old posts (or are they called threads?). Oh well the old ones are so cool!
