Chatterbox: Inkwell

A bright green firework expanded gradually in the deep sky, finally popping into thousands of tiny sparks of light.

"Where's the purple ones?" Nora the Singer complained.

"Did someone say...purple?" Indigo, Violet, and Lavender demanded, sending gales of laughter from the bystanders.

"Yes, yes I did," Nora the Singer confirmed, suppressing a grin.

"Oh, guys, look!" Blonde Heroines Rule shouted, hopping on one Converse-clad foot and gesturing towards a neon yellow firework bursting in the starry air.

"Of course you'd like that one - blonde hair is sort of yellow, isn't it?" Vida guessed.

"Yeah, that's probably why," Blonde Heroines Rule agreed.

"I personally like redheads," Red countered. "That's just me."

"What about brunettes with the tips of the hair dyed lavender?" Lavender chimed in.

"Or indigo," Indigo suggested.

"Or maybe violet," a voice added. Obviously we all know who said that.

"I like everyone's hair colors!" Stellarbee forced the argument to come to a halt. She bounced up and down, and everyone smiled knowingly. Stellarbee was like the cheerleader for both teams. Definitely big on peacemaking.

"Well, now you've got to be lying," Blonde Heroines insisted. "My hair's a train wreck."

I like it," Nora the Singer remarked. "It's curly like those noodles that are all curly. And stuff."

Blonde Heroines Rule nodded slowly, feigning comprehension.

Is this becoming weird? I don't know. I sort of like the randomness.
