Chatterbox: Inkwell

I just came

I just came up with a really neat game we could play! I'm sure most of you have heard of There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly. We could make a new one! I'll start by saying "There was an old lady who swallowed a_______. Then the next person comes up with the next line. We keep doing that, and the poem will get really long and silly!

Okay, here goes:

There was an old lady who swallowed a cricket.

Did she lick it when she swallowed the cricket?

I'm not sure if this is correct:

No, it sickened, so she swallowed a biscuit.

Nevermind. I'm pretty sure that was terrible. Sorry!

It's okay, I explained it pretty terribly up there. What you'd do is say something like:

There was an old lady who swallowed a crow.

Down her esophagus did it flow, that old crow.

She swallowed the crow to catch the cricket.

Did she lick it when she swallowed the cricket?

Now the next person comes up with whatever she swallows next. It should follow the pattern above. Sorry for not explaining clearly.

Okay, got it. Sorry!

She swallowed the cricket to lure frog.

Just wondering, why do you always do bold and italics?
