WRITING PROMPTS!!

WRITING PROMPTS!!

So I was thinking, let's give writimg prompts out! So somebody gives one and you can do one of two things:

1. give your own writing prompt

or

2. answer a prompt!

Here's a prompt for someone:

What if shadows were colorful and the human body wasn't?

@admins: if you have time maybe could you give a prompt or answer one maybe?

This is a good idea, Maple. I'll think about it. But you all are very creative on your own. You don't need my help.

Great idea, Maple!! I have a few prompts:

1. Make something of these four words: cat, accordion, petri dish, dump truck.

2. You are in training to become a Jedi Knight. Write about your typical day.

3. He was madly in love with her. She was indifferent to anything but her own appearance and Instagram. Her kid brother had sworn to find out what was going on. And of course, the rock band thing was the rock band thing; nobody knew exactly how long that would go on. What happened on the day they were both wearing the same T-shirt?

4. The time is October 2317. The place is New Tokyo. The world is controlled by _______. Someone has been hacking into your small company's data files. What do you do?

5. The entire U.S. is suffering a pandemic. Many people in your town have caught the disease, and only have a week or two to live. There is a cure, but the local hospital's supply is extremely limited. Convince the doctors that your ailing grandmother should be one of the first to receive the cure.

6. What is it about white chocolate and hot dogs? Explain.

7. A rainforest bird called the pitohui has skin-irritating poison in its feathers. Write about an imaginary creature with a similar strange or counterintuitive adaptation.

Write a poem about Light,

about spring and free air,

about your Dad's dream

about a red candle, or a

night's quest for victory.

Write a poem about your enemies, such as Writer's block, Blank sheets of paper, the word Untitled, etc. Write about the view outside your bedroom window,

or the very place you are in now.

My point is: Write a poem about anything!
