Here's my story

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Here's my story

Here's my story idea: Earth is in a war against aliens. These aliens are called Trigonians. There are hundreds of different alien species out there, some of them involved n the war, some not. It's mostly the humans vs the trigonians, but both sides have intergalactic allies. The trigonian's allies include the mysterious Spartans, (who are artificial intelligence combat robots from a distant galaxy) the Rebels, more humanoid looking. They belive that they are superior to all other species. They are covered in tough, dark flesh, have big teeth, and are about nine feet tall. They have ferocious-looking talons. The humans' allies include the Predecessors. They are very tall aliens. They are the wisest and most peaceful species in the universe. They are at average a little smaller than the Rebels. This war takes place in 3086, so it is naturally more high tech. The government has started amping up its military with weapons like laser sniper guns, supersoldiers, space fighters, etc. Here is the character sheet with my character: (Please no overpowered charries!)

Name: (Jim Coleman)

Age : 14

species: Human

Personality: Funny, kind. Though he has a dark secret that is his weakness.

Branch of the military: (Now, you can be from any military you want, like the Predecessor military, but please put their skills here. Or you can make up your own. I made up a few for you.)  Combat Drone Corps. (These guys fly space and/or airborn drones whose weapons vary with the pilot. They fly them using high tech 'gauntlet' remote controls worn on wrists or by using computers that attach themselves to their suits.

Dementology Lab: These science and math experts study dimentional travel to aid in sneak attacks.

The X branch: In 2092, the Predecessors created organic, super powered creatures that look somewhat like dragons. These creatures are designed with the same brain waves as a chosen Predecessor soldier. They can speak telepathically with each other and can share thoughts. The Predecessors shared the info on how to create these war machines with humans, and now they are doing the same with their soldiers. (This is the branch my charrie is in.) Okay, I've talked enough. Now, you can make up your own military branch, be a sniper, be a supersoldier, whatever you want. Or you can be in one of the branches listed above. Please choose only one.

Sosososososososo soooooo cool!

This has the makings of one of those RPs that ends up having like three/four hundred posts, and a name that lives on in legend forever.

Name; Maria West

Age; 16

Species; Human

Personality; hardworking, but distant. Not that she's rude or mean, but she doesn't really care what people think, so she says what she wants when she wants, and . . .  it comes off rude and mean sometimes. She doesn't have many friends, partly due to her brash personality, partly due to the fact that she's always working and doesn't have time. She's an orphan. Her parents died in an alien attack when she was six. She doesn't want anyone to know.

Appearance; slightly above shoulder-length black hair in ringlets, olive skin, brown eyes. A bit short.

Branch of military; Enemy Science Division (called sometimes by other divisions 'The Copycats'); they capture bits of enemy tech and work to replicate it for an advantage in the war. It's a fairly low-funded division.

I should ask you before I post this:

Could my charrie be from a planet that people don't know has life on it? And they're so much like humans they all think that she is one, but she's not.

Okay then!
Name: Raylona F.

Age: 11, but biologically immortal

Species: everyone thinks she's human (including her), but she's actually from a planet called Sharro (which happens to be at war too, with another planet, Marro. They're both in the galaxy Fregh).

Personality: kind, patient, witty, but kind of a loner, and always has this thing tugging at her, but she doesn't know what it is.

Branch of the Military: because her father is highly disabled and because she's the eldest of her siblings she volunteered to fight. She's in the Combat Drone Corps.

Appearance: like a normal human, but there are a few things;

1) Her hair is naturally pink. Most people think she dyed it, but she didn't.

2) Her eyes are orange.

3) Her pinky is missing on her right finger (that everyone blames on an accident).

Oh, and may I say this must be the best idea for an RP ever?! And also that I think I accidentally based my sci-fi story (that's what we just started in school) on this!

Jim~

"Sooooo, why am I here?" Jim asked the General. In the middle of combat class, Jim had been called by one of his teachers, General Wayne Johnson, to report to branch X. (One of the branches of the combat training facility) He was standing in the science lab, waiting to be called in to the area where they create the terracrones. The telepathic 'dragons' that where used for combat.

"Simple. When we accepted you into this military program, you understood that you would have our own terracrone made for you, correct?"

"Well, yes of course."

"Well, it's done. You were called here to meet your new companion."

Excitement welled up inside of Jim. "He-he's here! I mean, he's ready-sir?"

The general smiled. "Yes. All of his information has been downloaded into his brain, and he is fully alive, well, and aware of what he is and what's going on. He is anxious to meet you."

Just then, a door slid open and a scientist walked out. "Come on in. Congratulations, Jim." He smiled. Jim and the General went in. Jim's terrecrone was about nine feet tall, twenty feet from tail to head, and was bright orange and black in color. It was in a ginormous enclosure. It looked at him.

"Hello human boy Jim Coleman. I have been awaiting your arrival. I am looking forward to our future partnership and friendship." The creature spoke inside Jim's head!

Jim beamed. "Good to finally meet you, partner," he said.

Nezirey-

"Where's your money?" the gangster growls.

"Please, sir!" I whimper, slowly inching closer, "I have no money- but I'm trained in martial arts!"

I bowl him over and send him flying.

Suddenly my telepathic wave detection device finds a terracrone and a boy. I go to investigate.

I've decided that my character is part of the Combat Drone Corps, specifically a branch called the Predecessor Division.

Diviako~

"That's it, men! Train harder!" The words erupt from my mouth sounding hostile, but they are anything but that. The Predecessor Division of the Combat Drone Corps fought using the most peaceful means possible.

Even though the Combat Drone Corps was invented by hostile species, we  Predecessors are nothing like them. Unlike the other branches of the C.D.C, The Predecessor Division use weapons that inflicted no pain on our targets. We use missiles called Zarakickers, which vaporize the target on impact.

I am a drill sergeant in the Predecessor Division, and at the moment I am training a squad of elite soldiers, who are flying around a huge arena, shooting moving targets with Zarakickers. Suddenly, the general of the Predecessor Branch walks into the arena, narrowly missing getting hit by a Zarakickers.

"Hello, General," I smirk. "you must have some very important news if you were willing to risk getting vaporized."

"This is no time for jokes, Diviako," the general grunts. "But it is indeed true that I have dire news. A squadron of Trigonian ships is headed straight for the X Branch's millitary base. Seems they want to blow it up."

My face falls at the news. I have many allies in the X Branch, most of them human. A young species, but one that shows much potential.

"I'll send some men over straight away, sir," I say to the general. "They won't know what hit them."

I speak into the intercom, delivering my message into the headsets of every trainee into the arena.

"GET READY TO VAPORIZE SOME TRIGONIANS, MEN!"

Raylona~

I hug my mother one last time.

"Be safe," she whispers. "Be careful. Promise me."
"I promise," I say. "Don't worry, mom. I've been trained. If I'm in trouble, I'll have backup."

"I'll take care of her, ma'am," says my good friend and partner Chris. "She'll be fine with me."

I kiss her goodbye and climb up the ladder into the ship.

This is amazing, I think, looking at the ship. It's wonderful, just like the stimulators.

"Do you want to take the right or the left?" asks Chris.

"Right," I reply. "That's the side I trained at."
He nods, and we sit on either side of the ship.

Unlike most ships, ours is controlled with a steering wheel. But this is because Chris and I are in a high-tech unit; our controllers are more alive than others.

I rev up the ship and see Chris doing the same. Together, we fly out of the spaceport and hit the air.

"There they are," I say. A few spaceships are hovering around Earth's hemisphere.

"What do you think?" asks Chris. "Which attack?"
I type in the code for identify enemy ship into my wrist computer.

"It's a very strong material," I say. "Let's try for rocket bombs."
We both select that weapon, and the cannons on either side of our ship fire. Unfortunately,

"We hit only one," groans Chris. "We've just called attention to ourselves."
"Kepp calm," I say. "If we work this right, we can avoid getting hit."

We position ourseves for our next fire. This time, we hit two.

As we get ready to fire or the third time, our watches start to beep.

"A skype call from the boss!" groans Chris. "Of all the rotten timing-"

"Attacker from behind," my watch brodcasts. "Firing..."

And then all I see is fire, just fire, and I think I'm choking, but I'm not sure. All I know is that I'm burning and am in pain and am floating and now I'm certain I'm suffocating and my watch is beeping and chirping about electrocution and malfunctioning and everything goes black.
