Maeve started slowly toward the box. There were locks, so many locks, but she stared at the box until she had figured out which lock had which key, and then she delicately clicked each lock open. Inside was a microphone.

She smiled an almost poisonous smile, her eyes gleaming in a bit of an unnatural way. The switch to turn the built-in speaker was flipped on, and she began singing.

Booksy Owl winced as the terrible screeching from next door resumed. Why? Why? Why? She screamed to herself as it continued on and on and on. 

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. She threw the book in her hand into a puddle at her feet, and, in a rare loss of temper, threw the door to the screeching house open and glared inside at a petite girl holding a microphone.

Maeve stared in shock as the door flew open, a complete stranger glaring back at her. 

"What are you doing?" The girl asked angirly. Maeve stood up to her full height, only a few inches higher, and stared back.

"I should ask you the same question." The words poured out of her mouth like venom. But, in a completely unexpected turn of events, the mysterious girl at the door threw her arms around Maeve.

As soon as her eyes had drifted to the laptop sitting on the couch, Booksy couldn't help but throw her arms around the Screeching Girl. Unfortunately, the girl reacted badly: her fist found Booksy's eye before she knew what happened.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" the girl exclaimed as she looked at Booksy's already bruised eye.

"It's okay," Booksy mumbled, though excitement clouded her voice.

Maeve's eyes followed the girl's to her computer, where the CB homepage shone. Her eyes lit up, and they met with enthusiasm. 

"Are you-," they cried in unison, and then laughed. 

"Nora the Singer?"

Favorite book character name: Its complicated, call her Isi.

Book: The books of Bayern

Character personality: She can talk to the wind, and listen to it. So it tells her if something is coming to kill her and she can tell it to make a tornado. She can also control fire. So basically she can suck heat out of things, including humans, which can kill them, and other stuff. Then she can use the heat. She is laughable but smart, and serious. (She is a queen) She is also kind, and makes friends right away.

Your Personality: Happy, makes baaaaaddd puns and such. I try to blend in with the crowd. Goofy, and observative. Kinda a daredevil. Willing to try anything, (except when it comes to food. 

Other stuff about you: Loves drawing zentangle, but mostly dragons. Plays flute, piano, piccolo, and is learning ocarina. I can throw a punch, thats for sure.

Brookeira sat on a beanbag near her window, her old and tattered copy of Two Towers clutched in her hand. She read on, and on, but was soon called down to supper.

Rainbow sat in the corner of her room, reading. It was Harry Potter, again.

(Narrator grimaces)

Suddenly, a small noise exploded inside her head.

"Legolas Legolas Legolas!!!" It sang in an extreme fangirly manner. Rainbow sat there stunned, just plain stunned. As she continued listening, she heard the TT being read out loud, but faster than reading out loud would be.

Then, Rainbow screamed

Brookeira stopped reading. A small scream had exploded in her head. Then there was a voice inside, just screaming, "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I've gone crazy." Brookeira thought carefully. Slowly, words formed in her head, and she let them leave.

Words filled her head. Rainbow's ears heard the words pouring ut, so loud and clear she was surprised the neighbor's didn't hear them.

Hello? I'm Brookeira. Have I gone crazy?

No, unless I'm crazy and you don't exist.

I exist, alright. Who are you?

Rainbow.

Wait...

Then they both smiled.
