Whatney's Boarding Sc

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Whatney's Boarding Sc

Whatney's Boarding School for the Gifted and Talented RP!! (Talk about long titles)

Okay so this is exactly what it seems.

In a small town called Lupine (Made up) where everybody rides bikes, there is a super fancy and expensive boarding school. The best one in America. Kids come from every single state, because of a special raffle that brings a kid from each state in America for half off. Which winds up saving a lot. It is so expensive because it is almost basically a college campus. It goes on throughout the warm Winter every year and ends with a big graduation party.

I trust you guys not to make more charries then you can handle!! And I don't care if you only mainly use one of your charries!!

Here is another boy! WARNING: I may not be him as much.

Name: Thomas (Tom for short) Jones

Age:14

State: Idaho

Talent/Gifts: He is a natural inventor. His room is filled with strange gadgets that even HE doesn't know what they do. He is also great at making a guess by taking the knowledge he has and figuring out the- oh you already get it.

Appearance: Messy red hair. Bright green eyes. Usually wears plaid button ups over white T-shirts, jeans, and combat boots. He will usually have a pair of green, steampunk like goggles. Usually has a bored look on his face.

Personality: Pretty serious. He prefers to work alone in his room, instead of going to a party. Observant. Has a major fear of the ocean and everything in it. Gets teased.

Friends/Crushes: Probably friends with Derek, since they both have great minds. Crushes, doesn't have any. For now.

Samantha~

I grin as I get ready for school. A song forms in my head and I let the words form as I sing. Sing about anything. The clock tells me it's five minutes before the first assembly..thing..what's the word? I shrug and grab my bag rushing out the door.

We all meet and the...headmaster? Principal...there we go, starts talking about the rules and blah blah blah...

"Rule number one...." I twirl my hair while he talks.

"Miss Samantha?"

"Yes!?" I sit up straight and look at him.

"What is rule number five?"

"Oh, Raise your hand." One of the oldest rules ever.

He raises his eyebrow, "Very good."

I'm back!

Willow~

I sit silently at the back of the auditorium, while the principal drones on. Nobody really notices me all the way in the back. I'm just wondering when the applications for the backstage crew will be avalible.

Evelyn~

I barely listen as the principal goes over all the rules in homeroom. They already sent an email out with the rules and information about Whatney's, so I took five minutes to memorize it. When he's done, he uses the classic teacher strategy-embarrassing the non-listeners by quizzing them. A girl named Samantha gets lucky by being asked rule 5, which is the classic rule- raise your hand. Then he goes to me.

"Miss Evelyn, what is rule 14?" he asks.

"Laptops in the library must never be removed from their places," I awnser quietly. He raises one eyebrow. Clearly he thought this was a hard one.

After rules are done, we're assigned a beginning-of-the-year test. The history, reading, and science questions are easy, but the math ones are harder. I stress over x's and y's. Math used to be easy in fourth grade, where it was all about memorization. Now it's harder.

Thomas~

The test is pretty easy, so I finish quickly. The rule with this test is, if you finish early, you get to head up to your room, and choose and decorate your side. I turn my test in, and head up to the third floor, where the boys dormatory is.

Once I get into my assigned room, I open my suitcase and check stuff off as I pull them out. Okay, let's make sure I have all of my tools. Hammer, screwdriver, cogs and gears, sanity inducer, screws, scanning thing, weird thing that I don't know what it is but I like it. Now for my inventions. Twirly thing, round thing, thing that makes a satisfying noise, and my invention that keeps people out of my stuff. I put my stuff away and decrorate my side.

Silva-

Why can't they hear it?

It's much louder than the principal, those backwards whispers muttered by the men by the door. At least, to me it is. My mind is working like a supercomputer, because they're talking backwards, it Cesar, with a strange accent.

(These kids are valuable. But I'm worried about that one.)

(The glittery eyes one?)

(Yeah, her. It's like she... knows.)

Willow~

I finally finish my test. Math has never been my strong suit, but I think I did okay. I quickly head to the front, turn in my paper, and rush out of the room, while avoiding eye contact with any of the other students.. Oh, I'm even too afraid to walk in front of the class to turn a paper in! Why can't I just get over this. I head to the third floor to the girls' dorms. I wonder who I'm rooming with.

Does anyone want to be Willow's and Thomas's roommates?

Riley

Eww, gross! A stupid test! I don't really excel at anything, but I don't fail either.  I can do math easily, I'm just not one of those math whizzes.  I finish my test, and decide to wait for just a second. I feel a sneeze coming on. I snatch a tissue and sneeze. Though I made sure to make it small and petite.  I think I'm catching a cold. Eww! Even more gross! I straighten my shirt, and head to the front. I can feel the burning of sensation of eyeballs boring into my back. I take it  cooliy, though I worry what they must think of me. Handing my paper in, I start to walk away. I notice some people on the first row were looking. I smile and wave. What? I don't want to be rude.

A girl comes into the room. "Hey," she says, "I'm Willow."

I turn to her. She freezes when she sees my kaleidoscopic eyes.

"Can't you feel it?" I whisper, "something's wrong. Really wrong."

"Wh-what?" she asks, obviously unnerved.

A feeling like ice grips my stomach. "Someone's going to-" I say in a shcoked, quiet voice.

I'm interrupted by a scream from downstairs. I bury my head in my hands.
