Tree Town RP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Tree Town RP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tree Town RP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I try not to have more than one Rp at once...but this idea was amazing!!!!!!

In the small average town of Zuhaitz Herria *Tree town* there are no large mansions or castles. No more then average houses. Nothing more than average and nothing less. Until you reach the center. From the sky you can tell the town is round, a small spiral, leading to the center. The tree. The largest tree you would ever see. It covers most of the houses along the inner spiral road. Its leaves are various colors, you could almost call them personality leaves, Nortasun Hostoak. But the leaves are falling. For ages new leaves have sprouted for new life. Every leaf is a life in the town. But the leaves are falling, people are dying. With absoultly no cause. Something is causing this, and we need to find out what. We need to find out before all the leaves fall. The town gathered us. People each of a different Nortasun.

Personalities!!!! (Nortasun!!!)

Red Hostoak: A fiery personality. Someone who is quick to anger, but strong and brave.

Blue Hostoak: A shy personality. Someone who rarely smiles, but has many hidden talents.

Green Hostoak: A happy personality. Someone who always laughs, but isn't the brightest.

Grey Hostoak: A bland personality. Someone who doesn't understand smiles, but is very smart.

Pink Hostoak: A sassy personality. Someone who is a total girly-girl, but is very defiant.

Purple Hostoak: A regal personality. Someone who thinks themself the best, but can strategize.

Black Hostoak: A dark personality. Someone who hates brightness, but can predict outcomesish

Brown Hostoak: A mixed personality. Someone who can blend in, but makes a great spy.

Magenta Hostoak: A romantic personality. Someone who always thinks people are in love....

Only... 9 people can join, (Including me). One charrie per person!!! And, we need guys!

Character form:

Name:

Age: (13-15)

Hostoak/Personality:

Appearance: (Eye color is the same as your leaf.)

Mother's Maiden name:

Other:

Okay!! There we go. The Mother's Maiden name is something I think might come in use.

My charrie!!!!!!

Name: Adira Forkestar

Age: 14

Hostoak/Personality: Brown/She is one of those people who don't just know where they belong. She can make herself fit in anywhere, and thats why a lot of people know her. Her leaf isn't rare, there just aren't as many as the others. She would be great for going undercover. And she can manipulate.

Appearance: She has big, brown eyes that show her curiosity. Her hair is hazel colored and loosely curled. It reaches her lower back. She is tall and gracefull, with a round, freckled face. She usualy wears her dresses, as all women are required, but for their quest she wears pirate-like clothes.

Mother's Maiden name: May.

Other: Her passion is singing. And she is good at it to. She often sings to the town some Medieval ballads she 'found.'

Just to let you know this is in a Medeival time period. And I was thinking the Pink Hostoak could be the Mayors daughter/son, or whatever.

I heard the name "Black Hostoak: Quill Dilk," then the Mayor closed his scroll, and turned away as if he was done. I was confused. The representitive for the magenta hostoaks had not been chosen. Many started to turn away, including me but one small voice piped up.

"Mr. Mayor, you haven't announced the representitive for the magenta hostoaks." I recognized that voice, it was my little 7 yr. old brother with his friends. <!--break-->

Looking flustered, the mayor hastily rolled his scroll out again and squinted at the writing. Announcing, he proclaimed "Magenta Hostoak: Ophelia Corazone!"

As I went to stand with the others, some who had already left to find their families, my friend Rayseli leans over to me and whispered "I'm glad he chose you. I was the one who suggested it you know. Father was SO unhappy when he couldn't think of a magenta hostoak to go on the quest."

"Yah," I thought "he barely gets to know us."

"Anyways, I suggested you because I didn't want to be alone on the quest. I'm so very glad he took my suggestion and picked you!"

Pinks can be so full of themselves sometimes, but I believe that Rayseli was different. That's why I like her.

Turning towards us, the mayor spoke to the ones who were left on the stand. "You will need to go pack your things, the quest starting tommorrow and all that. Meet me here 12:00 sharp in two days, and I will give you your instructions."

All of us left for our homes to pack. In a daze, I too left for home, partially so I could help my Mom with chores, partially so I could pack, and partially so I could tell my Mom the big news.

In the distance is Siress' little tree.

Also, why is everyone ignoring Siress? She's in the stream, by her tree, only a few hills away.

I sat at my tree. I missed everyone. Everyone I had loved. Dead. After the fire. My fault. Tears flowed like a hurricane.

Montana-

As soon as the mayor's speech is over, I dash home. When I tell  my family the news, they seem to be just as surprised as I was.

"But, Montana honey, won't it be dangerous?" Mother asks.

"It could be, but I'm up for a good adventure," I say determinedly.

"Oh, Montana, I suppose I can't change the mayor's decision, but I can tell you this: No matter what happens, always be brave, strong, and kind. And always remember us. Sean, Morgan, Dad, and I will be waiting for you and we believe in you. And please be careful... Darling." (Sean and Morgan are her siblings. Sean is a green hostoak with a little bit of magenta and a tiny bit of black, Morgan is a brown hostoak with a little bit of blue and green.)

She never calls me darling unless it's something really important. Mom took that a lot better than I thought she would. Usually she would be crying about her little girl growing up so fast by now. Oh wait...... Here it comes.

"Oh my baby giiiirrrrrrllllll........ The years go by so-so faaaaaaasst... Waaaaaaaaah."

I'm 14 but my mom acts like I'm 5. Oh well, in a few days I'll be on a mission that won't be supplying me with luxurious meals, so I might as well eat good food while I can. As I bite into one of my mother's delicious, buttery, homemade croissants (I have no idea why I made her eat croissants of all things. Maybe she' sport French. Bonjour, merci) I think about how lucky I was to be chosen for this mission. But also how risky and dangerous it could be.

Adira~

I decided to take a walk and clear my head. I say bye and popped out the door, headed in no certain direction.

I come upon a stream and squat down, sticking my fingers in and watching the patterns it made in the water. Splash. I fell back, startled, because suddenly girl. "Uh..hi?"

"This is my stream," the girl states.

"Oh..uh..sorry...wait..your stream?"

She nods and looks around. Then she peers closer. "You aren't Pink or Magenta...are you?"

"No! My eyes!" Then I look down, slightly ashamed. "I'm Brown."

"Oh...uh.." she climbs up onto shore, sitting next to me. "Uh...I'm Siress...Turquoise..."

"Oh...I'm Adira...Bbbrown."

She turns to me, her beautiful eyes sparkling. "B-b-b-brown?"

I smile and shake me head. "Brown. Plain old simple Brown."

"I think Brown is pretty cool. It's the color of the great tree's trunk. The color of sticks and..."

I can tell what she is going to say and exclaim,"No! Don't say it!" We both laugh and look up.

"Why are you out here?"

"Trying to clear my head..." I respond.

"Why?"

"Uh...." I look up at the sky, then back at her fragile-looking face. "I was chosen..."

Her eyes sparkle again and her laugh ripples like water. "Really?"

I squint at her, "Is that funny??

~Ophelia~

Running home to tell my mom the wonderful news, I called her name to see where she was. When she beckoned to me from the kitchen, I rushed inside.

"Mom, you won't believe the news I have to tell you!"

"What is it darling?" Coughing into her sleeve, she smiled warmly at me. My mom has had a cough for days; at first it sounded ok but now I wasn't so sure.

"Mom, are you ok?" <!--break-->

"Just fine dearest. Now, what is this news you wanted to tell me?" My mom said this so kindly, I felt like I could curl up in a ball and tell her everything.

"I got chosen as the representitive for the Majenta hostoaks to go on a quest but I'm frightened. I don't want to leave you with the chores to do, and now that Dad is gone you don't have anyone to help with the kids, or take care of the land, or provide for our family. I don't think I want to go, I just CAN'T leave you!"

"But you must go." Lifting my head in her hands, she spoke softly. "You were destined for great things. You will endure some trials along the way, but I know you can overcome them, because you are my brave, strong girl. Remember, I am not alone. I have 6 little helpers, and your younger brother Amos is nearly 14. He will watch over the family and do all your responsibilities while you are gone. I love you, and I know you can do this." She smiled encouragingly at me as I smiled back.

"Thanks, Mom. I'll be in my room, call me if you need anything." Retiring to my room to pack, my thoughts strayed from the quest in a few days, to my unexpected meeting the day before. I had gone for a walk near our house when suddenly I heard someone beautifully singing a sorrowful song, but it made me feel happy so I started to giggle. Looking for the singer, I found a girl sadly staring out towards a stream half submerged. When she finally noticed me, she lunged out of the water towards myself. Strange I noticed, her skin was gleaming and she was not that wet. Very rudely, she told me to go away and never come back. Jumping back into the water, she started to swim away but then yelled over her shoulder for me to tell all the pink hostoaks in my town to "go stick their heads in a creek." Imagine! Me telling my friend, Rayseli to go stick her head in a bucket of water! Oh, the sight on her face, I would treasure that moment forever. I wonder what it was that made her so angry at me and the pinks? Well, I could hardly blame her. Perhaps she was in love, but her lover fell in love with a pink or magenta hostoak. Or, she had lost a family member, and was silently grieving over her loss. Maybe we could become good friends, although she was angry at me. "She'll get over it soon," I thought. I hoped that was so, but you can never be sure. I silently reminded myself to put my new "friend" into one of the stories I told my siblings.

As I thought about the strange girl, my thoughts strayed once more, this time turning to my Dad. Grabbing my sword by the doorway, I remembered one time when I was very little, how my Dad had taught me how to use a sword. Smiling, I recalled Mom's worry of me getting hurt.

"Don't worry about her, she's a natural swordsman!" my father replied.

Tying the sword around myself, I ran to go help Mom with supper. I would definitely need those skills as a natural swordsman for the trip in a couple days.

Sorry it's so long, but I couldn't wait to fit everything in!

(so Ophelia's post happened a little while ago, and now I'm with Adira.)

"When I was... in your village," I said haltingly, "brown hostoaks fared almost as badly as turquoise o the social ladder."

I scowled and let out a huf.

"Pinks are rumormongerers," I grumbled, "Adira, you should trust yourself, the browns, the blue, and the greens, but don't trust the magentas or pinks."

"Why?" Adira asks, "I get not liking pinks, but..."

I sigh and shake my head.

A leaf falls into the water next to me and I shake my head.

"Our king's leaf fell two hours ago," I say, "we have to find out who's doing this."

Adira~

"Wait...go back a sec...did you say the King Leaf has fallen?" She nods and I gasp.

"We do...but I have a feeling it will include trekking across..." I look out past her stream "the desert."

She nods. "I'll wish you luck... Do you know who the Turquoise one was?"

I look at her, "Why?"

She looks down, her beautiful hair falling in her face. "Just wondering..."

"I think it was..." I try to recall the name, but to no avail. "It started with an S..."

"Siress?" she asks hopefully.

I shake my head, "No idea. Possibly...but I'll ask the mayor tomorrow. I'll tell you when I find out!"

So, if Siress is a chosen one tell me, because I can honestly think of no other way she would accompany us.

Hmm, that's something to think about. What if Adira goes to ask the mayor, and it's someone else that starts with S but at the last second that person gets really sick and instead Siress gets chosen, or when Adira goes to ask, the mayor doesn't know that Siress survived and because he is a pink hostoak and knows the history of Tree town, he didn't choose a turquoise hostoak at all, but Siress sneaks in cause she wants to help? Just some ideas. :)
