"You can't stop me." It's glowing eyes burn red with glorious, triumphant rage. I wipe the trickle of blood away from my mouth, but it reappears within a matter of milliseconds.
"No, I can't." I raise my sword, broken and battered, on the verge of disintegrating, just like me. "But I can delay you just long enough to save the others." Then, with the strongest, broadest, most courageous smile I could muster, I run at the darkness swirling all around me. Then, I hear it's horrid laughter.

Thoughts? The first one will be near the middle, and the second will be near the end.

WOW those are good, Rogue! I love the sentence "I raise my sword, broken and battered, on the verge of disintegrating, just like me." All I would say is that "it's horrid laughter" should be changed to "its horrid laughter". (I mix "it's" and "its" up a lot too XD)
