Zombie Abocalypse RP

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Zombie Abocalypse RP

Zombie Abocalypse RP

Hi! This is a zombie Apocalypse rp. Self explainitory. The rp will start at the beginning of the apocalypse. Only 8 people allowed!

A bit of backstory: The zombies where caused by an experiment involving a radioactive material combined with a dead body of a person. This caused distruction, turned all of the scientists into zombies, and spread the radioactive stuff. The radioactive stuff can sometimes cause mutations and curses.

Another note: I would like people to make their characters unique. Don't have the same old smart, brave, and kind person. Also, don't have the same personality as any other character.

Name: Nettie

Age: 17

Mutation, curse or skill( Like being able to shoot a gun): She has hallucinations, however she is able to carry a machine gun and use it.

Appearance: Short dirty blond hair, dark greenish brown eyes, short in height.

Usually wears: A shirt too big and ripped jeans. Also wears a beanie.

Supplies if any: Backpack with some trail mix and cookies, and a bike.

Personality: Brave, slightly insane, doesn't talk much. Hyper.

Backstory: I dunno.

Now make your character ^^

(Oh and yes; I'm back :3)

Actually, Critic, landing a plane is pretty easy. I watched a video about it and I-- an 11-year-old-- could probably land a plane in an emergency. And with YouTube tutorials and such, it should be pretty easy to learn.

No, it isn't. People can fly planes. Also, as of right now l would not like to tell anything about Ren's backstory and how she learned that, so be content with knowing that she did learn that in a realistic manner.

YES. Joining.

Name: Fahrenheit (it WAS Dee, before... well, you'll find out.)

Age: 12

Mutation/Skill: He expertly wields a flamethrower he found on eBay, while utterly wrecking the area around him with a supply of bootleg C4. Due to constant exposure to noxious fuels, his body now runs on toxins and chemicals. Completely flameproof.

Appearance: Short, with a wild mess of red hair and pale, damaged skin.

Usually wears: A black suit with a red tie, scorched and corroded. Sunglasses modified to protect from extreme heat.

Supplies: A flamethrower, bought on eBay. A bright red backpack, filled with C4 and his few belongings. Sharpened rake. Canister of acid.

Personality: Dangerous and unpredictable. Will do anything for money. Sarcastic and smart during his few "stable moments". Completely remorseless, but really just wants a family again. Somewhere under the psychosis, obsessions, and insanity, there's still a twelve-year-old boy. Obsessed with fire and killing zombies.

Background: Dee was a normal twelve-year-old until the outbreak started. Zombies broke into his home and transformed his parents. He had to kill them with his bare hands. Some say something snapped inside him that day. All that's certain is that the child who came out of that house wasn't the one who went in.

Am I too late to join? Disregard post if I am.

Could I have Dee be introduced a little after the apocalypse starts? Y'know, after he becomes Fahrenheit?

Going to kick off the zombie apocalypse.

~~Aleen~

I slip my fifteen dollars into the little compartment and wait until it clicks, then prints out the little ticket. Ripping off the ticket I travel through the tram until I find a comfy seat with a good view. The tram bustles along through the city towards the east side, where the guy who trains me lives.

I watch the passing buildings, occassionally spotting a rare sploch of green in our world of gray and black. By having turned everything electric and technical, I think to myself staring at a rose bush in the tiny square plot of one person's front yard, we've lost some real beauty.

My cracked and beat up phone emmits a small beeping noise. I pick it up and see it's Trevor calling me from the family phone. I press a button to allow him to speak.

"Aleen- the zombie apocalypse has began."

"You're joking, right?" I say, my voice as dead serious as it can be. If he is joking I will destroy every piece of machinery he owns.

"No. I'm not," He says, his voice desperate. "Me and dad have barrcaded ourselves up in the highest part of the house all locked in but it won't last for long, we're trapped like little rats."

I collapse back on the tram. "Ohhhh no."

"Exactly," He replies. "The zombies are distracted with just the regular passerbys and easy catches for now, that's why I can call you. Dad and I, we want you to run out of this city. Keep on going east, the zombies came from the west so you'll be rushing away from them. I want you to RUN THE HECK out of there and don't come back until there aren't any more zombies."

"W-what about you?" I ask.

"Leave me and dad behind. We'll hold on as long as we can. Don't expect us to survive. Ride the tram as far as you can then I want you to get off and run northwards, out of the city."

Franses ~

My shift finally ends, so I head home. Poppy and I just live in a little cottage in the nearby forest, nothing too special, but it's good enough for the two of us. I sling my bag over my shoulder as I start walking home.

I get farther into the forest, when I hear a twig snap. I stop, looking around, when I hear a slow moan. It creeps closer, until I see it's rotting flesh and dead eyes. Out of instinct, I reach into my bag, pull out a bottle of ketchup, and whack it across the zombie's  head, completely knocking the entire head off. I break into a sprint, running as hard and fast as I can. The cottage comes into view. I burst through the door. Poppy is in the kitchen,  cooking.

"We need to get to the shelter, now!"

"Franses, what have you been doing?  Why are your clothes ripped, and you sweating so hard?"

"I said that we need to leave, now! Grab what you need, and run to the shelter. I'll explain when we get there."

Poppy's expression is one of fear and concern, but she obeys, and hurries to grab food, clothes, and our dog, while I grab the weapons and valuables.

We arrive to a hollow tree, where the only entrance is through the top. We climb the branches to the top, climb down a ladder, open a super security trap door, walk a bit underground,  open another door, and enter the shelter. It's extremely large, made to fit many people. Our father built it, just in case. It already has enough food to last many people many years. It also has an area for farming, and a water supply. I guess we'll have to live here now.

It's a shelter for everyone, so then we could all meet up. To get a better picture, it's like the shelter from the movie "Host".

@Hacker D.- Could Ellie and Fahrenheit meet once he is introduced? I was thinking that maybe he could become like a son to Ellie, and she loves him even though she knows he's not completly stable. Let me know what you think of this idea! =)

Ellie~

It's happening. The apocalypse. Everyone's been denying it but it has finally come. Death by zombies. I almost laugh out loud. That sounds ridiculous. Everyone used to say that zombies aren't real. They were wrong. The zombies were created from dead bodies injected with radiation. My dad was one of the people who made them. He helped develop the serum that was put in the bodies. I think the radiation affected his brain. He was sent to the hospital, but not before he made me into a zombie. I'm not dead, but I am radioactive. I don't want to go into great detail, but basically he made me into an alive zombie. I am sitting on my bed, crying from just thinking about the memory. But I can't delay it any longer. I have to leave. I grab my backpack from the hall closet and stuff it with food, a canteen of water, my phone, a sleeping bag, blanket and pillow, and my favorite picture of me and my little brother. (It was a huge backpack, okay?) Jack was also made into a living zombie (courtesy of my father) but he didn't make it. I guess his little body couldn't handle the radiation. I barely survived, but something inside me snapped. I'm not insane, but Iv'e never been as rational and careful as I once was.

I run down the stairs as fast as humanly possible, tears streaming down my face. I grab an apple from the pantry on my way out the door. The wind is blowing hard, and the sky is nearly black. Trees are whipping around, about to break and crash to the ground. I put my backpack on my shoulders and walk down the driveway. I look at my hands. They glow bright green. The serum was blue, but I guess the reaction with the chemicals in my body turned it green. I run into the woods, trying to hide from anyone, and anything whom I might could hurt.

Guys! I hate being the bad guy, but I wanted this to be a small rp. Its already really hard to keep track of all the characters.

Danie~

As I walk up the stairs to my apartment, something seems... Strange. Something in the air... Opening the door, I open up my draw and fish out my machine gun, which somehow seems light and easy to carry.

Visions, hullicinations... I always had them, but not this MUCH. I scream silently in my head, visions violently shaking my mind. Stumbling down, I almost smell... Dead bodies. Crawling toward the window, I look out. My mouth gapes open.

Humaniod creatures crawl the streets, their liquid green skin oozing off their body. Blood scorches their mouths, and their eyes... Oh god... Their eyes just gaping holes in their heads.

Lifting up my machine gun, I run out the apartment building. Suddenly their heads turn towards me. On A sudden streak of bravery I shoot most of them down, but cause the rest to race toward me even faster. I run toward a nearby shop and and hide.

I soon realize I'm in a bike shop. Slowly grabbing a bright acid green bike, I quietly crawl it toward a emergency exit at the back of the shop. Opening the door, I wince as the alarm screeches, sending the monsters after me more quickly. I stumble onto the seat of the bike, and ride it onto the street.

Elbowing the handles, I shoot my gun behind me. Some of them go down, but the remaining few seem to go even faster, if possible. Suddenly my bike swiveles and I fall onto the ground, my knee scrapping into the cold rock. I see the zombies approaching. Picking myself up, I limp toward my bike. Suddenly a figure jumps onto me and I black out.

******

Probably not a zombie. It could be one of you ^^

~Ren
l crack open an eye not quite sure where l am. Smoke drifts lazily above me, the smell of burning and something else sharp and unpleasant all around me. l open the other eye and blink.
Last thing l remember is getting thrown across the cockpit as the plane hits the ground. lf l survived, hopefully the others in the plane survived as well.
But first l must take stock of things. l am alive. That’s good. Right leg intact. Left leg intact. Left arm intact. Right arm….Not so intact. l avoid looking at it.  Minor head injury, as far as l can tell by gently feeling my skull with my left hand. No major organ injury either.
Ever so carefully, l push myself up into a sitting position. The sun is sinking to the horizon.
l must’ve been knocked out all day. l spot my backpack lying beside my and stretch out a hand to grab it, then swinging it onto my back.
The wreckage of the plane is scattered all around me, small part of it burning. Hope jumps within me as l see movement in one half of the spilt apart passenger cab of the plane, not too far away from me. Squinting through the smoke and fire, l can see that there is indeed someone over there, walking in a slow, lumbering walk, arms hanging down, shoulders drooped. The person clumsily runs into one of the plane seats and slowly turns. l am confused. If the person is injured, they would limp, in uneven, hopping steps. If unharmed they would not be so slow and clumsy and more aware of their surrounding. But this person-it’s almost as if they’re half dead and only driven by some dim purpose.
l struggle to my feet.
“Hullo?” l call to the person waving a arm. “l’m injured. Do you know if the are survivors from the plane crash?” The figure slowly turns to face me.
And suddenly l see them-the passengers-the pilots-emerging from behind the plane seats. And then they slowly start staggering towards me.
Cold horror shudders through me.
They aren’t human. Not anymore.
They are zombies.
l turn around. And l run, hot blood streaming through me, dashing onward the will to keep alive. l don’t care where l’m going or how bad my injuries are. l’m getting on out of here. l dash along a road, hard pavement slapping under my feet, keeping my eyes on the ground.
l trip over a rock and l am sent flying and then crashing into someone. l roll over, wincing as l feel a sharp pain in my ankle and stagger to my feet. Looking ahead, l see a group of zombies shambling towards me. l turn to the person that l crashed into.
She is short, having short blond hair. She lies there, sprawled across the pavement, eyes closed. Probably hit her head on the pavement when she fell.
Desperately glancing at the oncoming zombies, l pick her off the ground, gathering her in my arms and noting that she has a machine gun clutched in one hand. Strange. Of no use to me, as l cannot fire one.
l jump off the road, tripping and then rolling through the brush and small shrubs. l stay there, panting, hiding and waiting for the zombies to pass. l set the girl on the ground and make sure that she is alright.  l wonder what she is doing here, with a machine gun of all things.
l listen to the footsteps of the zombies, waiting anxiously for them to pass. But the zombies do not keep going on. They turn towards my hiding place. They are coming.  l need to run. For my life. For the girl’s life.

TOPTOPTOPTOPTOP!!!! Also, in Ella's appearance, I forgot to add that she wears a sweatshirt on top of her T-shirt.

Ella~

She knew it would happen. Sooner or later, it would. She told me to be prepared, in case it did ever occur and she couldn't get out, but we never thought it would happen this fast.

My family lives right next to the research station, the place my Mom works. She told me earlier that morning that they were close to finishing their experiment. "Mom, please stay home! What if something happens to you? It's too dangerous."

She smiled gently at me. "Ella, you always worry about me, but you never worry about yourself. Just remember that if anything happens, you are prepared. And Ella?"

"Yes?"

"Remember that you are a very brave and confident girl, and that I will always love you." She hugged me gently as if she knew what would happen, and then left. That was the last time I saw her that day.

The appocalypse started later that afternoon. There was a loud noise from the research station, and I ran outside to go find out what was going on. Smoke started to fill my lungs, as I staggered slowly back to the the house. From inside, I saw other people walking abnormally out of the station. One of them was my Mom. I grabbed my supplies just in case I needed them, and ran out the door to meet her. I could tell something was not right when I reached her. "Mom, are you ok?" She slowly turned her head towards me and I gasped. Her face was not one that I knew. Not a human face, but one of rotten flesh and sunken eyes. "Mom?" I said in disbelief.

She slowly started to walk towards me, along with a few others, who I did not recognize. "Zombies..." I whispered. Slowly they started to surround me. There was no way out that I could see. Reaching behind me back, I grabbed one of my supplies hoping I could use it to ward them off. It was a sword. Mom gave it to me when I was 10, and taught me how to use it in case this ever did happen. Thinking quickly, I stabbed it into one of the bodies. As it fell, I saw my chance to escape and ran away before they could surround me again.

As I ran, I saw people screaming and trying to hide from the zombies. They weren't prepared, and they didn't know what to do. I saw people surrounded by the zombies, becoming one of them. I shivered, tightening the strings of my swearchirt as I ran. "Maybe it's just a dream.." I thought hopefully, but I knew it wasn't. None of it was. I saw friends and neighbors dissapear, and I cringed with guilt. I wanted to help them, reach out to them, anything, but I just kept running. Everything I knew was gone.... including my Mom.
