THE RETAKING OF MORIA
Scenario: It is fifty years past the time when Sauron was still in the land of Mordor, there are only the elves that live in Lorien and in Mirkwood left, for all the other elves have sailed into the west. But the kingdoms of Rohan and Gondor are more magnificent than they ever were in the past, spreading far and wide. Middle-Earth is in prosperity.
But only one thing remains: The Mines of Moria.
The Mines of Moria have been insurpassable since the dwarves unleashed the nightmares of Moria by digging too deep.
Years later, after the dwarves had lost The Lonley Mountain, they had no where to go besides Moria, so the remainder tried to retake Moria, but they were a large host of dwarves, and they alerted the nightmares, and were met at the entry by Azog, the great general of the orcs, and he had a great army with him. They lost again.
Years later, when the dwarves had taken back The Lonley Mountain, and wealth poured out of it again, a small host of dwarves, led by Balin, son of Fundin, went to recolonize Moria, but they were not prepared for war, and they were taken off-guard, and they all died. (Sad stories, feel free to shed your tears here.)
Now, a group of elite warriors and two wizards, have set out on a quest from Lothlorien to retake Khazad-Dum.

THE ONLY MAGIC USERS ARE THE WIZARDS.
I would prefer it if there were 3 or 4 characters per race.
I will set up the enemies for battles because we are all on the same side, but it will be a little while before we meet any though.
Most of all, everyone must stick together (In the mines.) and we all must enter the mines together. This is gonna be fun!

I call an elf! Duh. I'll have a human as well. I am going to fill in the little bits which are needed. On the charrie sheet.
Name: Daeris (meaning in Sindarin, Shadow Queen)
Race: Elf
Weapons: A bow, and daggers. What else do you expect?
Age: 70, but since she is an elf, she's actually a young adult
Appearance: Long black hair, pale skin, pointed ears, the whole yadda yadda.
Personality: Snappish, sarcastic, cold, you get the idea.
Backstory: nothing exciting. Maybe I'll come up with something later.

Here's my human character! XD Your elf is rather young, I think Legolas was at least a thousand years old in The Lord of the Rings. Gah, we need some dwarven characters! ;P I should've made a dwarf instead of a man.
Name: Finnegan Dandurand, Finn for short
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Race: Man, Rohirrim
Weapon(s): Spear, Broad Sword, Shield, Saxe
Profession: Rider of Ronan
Appearance: Tall, strongly built. Shoulder length blonde hair usually pulled back with a leather thong. Piercing blue eyes. Usually has a stubble of a beard, only shaves for special occasions. Wears the clothing of the Rohirrim.
Personality: A good natured happy guy, he has a good sense of humor. Though it may seem that he doesn't take anything seriously, he does take his service to the King of Rohan very seriously though. Finn doesn't always think before he leaps, which can often land him in trouble.
History: Eh, I can't think of anything interesting right now. He grew up in Rohan and became a Rider at the age of 18 after training for some time.

She is a little on the young side . . . according to a elvish to human year thingy said that sixty years was when an elf became an adult. Or was that a teen? I'll make her 117? I dunno.

@Cho, I really have no idea when elves become adults, I'm fine with whatever age you choose for her, really. ;)
Man, we need some dwarves! I mean we are retaking Moria! XD I might make one if none show up soon.

Yeah, Cron and I had a conversation about that. He said he would probably RP as a dwarf and Radagahst. I can't spell his name right.
I found a GOOD site here, which I am posting the link to, and drawing your attention to a couple of things.
To convert elvish ages, multiply their age in human, by 2, 3, or, 4. So, in my case, I want my charrie to be about 30 in human years. So that would make her ranging from 60 to 120 years old. I'll make her 120.
Also, Elvish children cannot be born with deformities.

When I make elf charicters for RPs and storys I just add a 0 to the age I want them to be.

Race: Elf
Weapons: A bow and a quiver full of flint-tipped arrows. She also has a sword.
Profession: She is a lookout and guard of the forest in training.
Age: 68
Apperance: Long reddish gold hair tied back,and sparkling green eyes. She wears light leather armer with an ornately decorated bow and quiver slung over her back and a short sword at her side.
Personality: Light and funny and is an optimist. Likes laughing and archery.
Other: Most elves have strong eyesight but Ayena has Very very strong eyesight. That is why she is a lookout in training. She is also very very good at archery. She has a sword but is not good at fighting she is better at archery and running.
Sorry if that is too overpowerd. I can narow it down a bit.
