Story Writing Rp!

Ok so this is like the storytelling game.

Here are the rules:

I will start off the story.

You will continue it.

YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE ELSE HAS POSTED BEFORE YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN!

When the story is over I will start a new one.

Is that all? I think so. Here it goes!

You run away, you can here your enemies coming closer... and closer. Lightning flashes, and thunder BOOMS, the rain is coming down fast. You skid to a stop, next to a gorge, CLANK, CLACK, Clank, clack...........................splash. You look down and see the river, the water is flowing fast, the river has burst its banks. You hear "There you are!" You have no choice... you have to jump.

All right! That's your begining, you can do what you like. I hope you'll enjoy yourself. I hope this is going to be fun!

You hit the frigid water hard and immediatly go down. Seconds later you resurface, frantically gasping for breath. You try to fight the swift current threatening to pull you under water and drown you, but it is no use. The rushing rapids are too strong. You are tired and already your arms are aching. Knowing that shouting for help is no use, you desperatly grab a moss-covered rock. The handhold isn't much help, and your fingers are slipping. After a moment you are pushed back with so much force that you somersault underwater 3 times. Trying to figure out which way is up, you start to swim. You're running out of breath and struggling to find something, anything to help you survive. Finally you take a chance and swim upward with strong, quick strokes. You're in luck! But you aren't as lucky as you think. As soon as you reach the surface, you find that you are rushing towards even more violent waters. You are about to drown in The Rapids of Valkahof.

Sorry that it's so long. I couldn't help myself!

As you gasp for air, about to go under again, you hear hoofsteps. "Help!" you manage to croak out before you go under again. The hoofsteps stop. Someone reaches out and grabs you, heaving you up. You cough water out with each exhale until you finally have enough water out of you to speak. "Thanks." You say, turning to face the person who helped you. You start. The person is who you were running from in the first place! Still soaking, you wiggle out of his grip and jump onto his horse, saluting him before riding off.

Swift says "zxui." I don't have any zucchini! Promise!

The road is dark as the horse starts to speed up at your urging. The man behind you gives an angry shout, but he can do nothing. For now. You haven't escaped them forever. If only you could find somewhere safe to hide, insteed of running, running, forever running with no hope of stopping.

You lean along the horse's neck, as it slows to a trot. You are going along a rough road, winding through a thin stand of trees. You don't know where you are. This makes you nervous. You see another rider, coming along the bend of the road. You don't know weather to stay or hide.

You come to a halt and stretch your neck to see who it is.

And the mystery rider is.......

A dead tree. It only appeared to move because YOU were moving.

You feel silly. Oops. Nevers are getting to you.

********

You hear an explosion. BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!! The world explodes. The end. JK, forget the part after the row of stars.

Okay, I'm changing it to "I" now.

And I tried to keep it kind of vague and not make up a whole storyline....round robins are funner that way.

"Hyah!" I yell as I jerk the reins and urge the horse to go faster. The wind presses against my face and gives me a cool, almost numb feeling. I'm panting and sweating, so relieved to get away, but I'm stressed, nervous, wondering if they are going to catch up.

Impossible, I told myself, but I still wasn't so sure.

Suddenly, as the wind pressed harder on my face, picking up sediment and blowing it onto my skin, I felt a strange surge of emotion.

I laughed.

I laughed and laughed, not with joy, but...but of pure exhilarating almost mad-like release of everything I had been containing inside of me. I no longer tried to be brave. I had just accepted the craziness of life, and I appreciated my small break from it all.

The horse's ear began to twitch rapidly.

p.s. Hootsie stole my "4evr young" thing!!!!!!! oh well...........

We slowed to a stop, though we'd have to get moving again.

"What's wrong?" I said and rubbed the horse's nose somfortingly. Even though I knew this was a horse that had chased me down and had been one of many that I had nightmares about, pursuing me even in my sleep, with theor fierce riders, I couldn't help having a soft spot for this one. It was a completely different creature when I rode it. Gone was the wild, almost savage frenzy. Now it was determined and steady, yet somehow calm and serene. It felt relaxed at my touch, like it had known me for years.

I should stop calling the horse "it". I thought. "It" is a she. In fact, she deserves a name...

Dreamchaser, I decided. Chase for short.

Chase’s
ears continued to twitch. Why? Was it a warning? Horses could sense danger,
right?

“Okay,
I know you’re trying to tell me something, but we can’t just stay here. C m’on”

I
jerked the reins, but Chase wouldn’t move. I was starting to get annoyed.

“Fine,
then, I’ll get off and prove to you that it’s safe.”

I
swung myself off of her back. Thank God, she didn’t run away. I cautiously
walked forward, towards a cluster of four or five trees and spread my arms
apart.

“See? It’s perfectly
fi—”

I
heard a short screech, and the tree’s leaves shook. Chase neighed, and I
stumbled backwards.

Chase bolted  back the way we came as fast as he could, leaving me sprawled on the ground defenseless to whatever or whoever was in the tree.
