The Writing Thing!!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

The Writing Thing!!!!

The Writing Thing!!!!

So I had an idea about: what if we had a writing cluby thing. So we will each have our places (explained below) and we will make a whole book (or series!)!

We can have a max of 10 points.

One point jobs

Charrier: Designs the Charrie 1-2 people

Charrie Sculpter: will sculpt the charries in 3D 1-2 people

Two point jobs:

Animater (drawer): draws on computer 1-2 people

object designer: designs what original objects look like 1-3 people

food/clothes/everyday thing designer: designs food, clothes, etc. 1-4 people

Three point jobs:

hand drawer: draws stuff by hand 1-2 people

Drafter/lister: lays everything out 1-2 people

Nature designer: designs the landscape of the world 2-4 people

Four point jobs:

Spelling Police: checks final story's  spelling 1-2 people

Grammar Police: checks final story's grammar 1-2 people

Five point jobs:

Final Writer: writes the final book/story

So there we go. I pick

Charrie Designer (1)

Object designer (3)

Lister (6)

Nature designer (9)

Oh also we have to agree on pretty much everything so yeah. I will bring up a main charrie later bye!

Weell, I was thinking that we could do the writing on NaNoMail, but here is fine too.

I'm going to take over the world-building, anyone can help me if they want to.

Also, Scylla, I said I was going to draw dargons, so could we both draw them?

I meant we could both draw dragons.

Okay.

I was thinking, for the world, it would be a desert, (see the clothes) so the dragons are likely to be dusty yellow/gold colors, maybe brown, possibly having rattlesnake elements, or giant fins on their back ...

Sorry. #RunOnSentence

I'm working on developing the world as we speak!

No no no no not a desert! Not a desert! I hate hate hate deserts!!! Noooo!!!!!

And if we publish this, we'll need a nom de plume. What do you think?

XD

Okay, I'll try to figure something else out.

And, YAS! I love nom de plumes! Something interesting ... kinda like Lemony Snicket, but not so ... weird.

Maybe something that combines our names! Like Scylla in an Asian dialect!

Sukyara

OO! Or Skyla Chang(?), because the Greek word for Scylla is Skýla! And then Chang for Chang. XD :P

Or we could be S.C. Chirrido-- S for Scylla, C for Cho, and Chirrido for Chirp in Spanish. "Chirp, chirp, cricket!"

Haha! I like that one best.

Here's the world using the world sheet from Bumble's thing:

Name: Tarsida (tar-SEE-da)

Place/Location: The world is kinda shaped like half a bowl, you have a mountainous range where the Higher-Class live. Many Towns are built on large ledges of these mountains. The common folk live down in the large valley below, where crops grow in plenty.

Small dragons which are a foot tall at most often live among the crops, eating the insects off of them. (I'm working on these ones) Much larger dragons which could carry off humans live up in the mountains, where the altitude is too high for a human to go.

The occasionally attempt to steal and eat humans from the mountain cities, but these are so well protected, they prefer to go down to the valley.

Race: Humans, Dragons, and possibly dwarves and elves co-existing with the humans?

Customs: This is up to Esthelle.

Religion: I don't want to do this on a Sunday. Sorry, it just seems wrong.

Myths: I'll post those later.

Clothing: Slash-shift, Asthron, and the Nikerej. The rest is Esthelle's choice.

Language: The common language, which everybody speaks, Ellandi, which the Higher-Class speak, and other languages if we decied to use the elves and dwarves.

I made the female Nikerej. I'll post it when I remember to take a pic. Should I color it, or leave it as a pencil drawing?

Either one is fine with me! I finished the Many-Tear-Dragon, which is the tiny dragon I was talking about in my last post. But I'm still working on the background, so it should be posted today or tomorrow. Or Wednesday.

Here is the first god:

Name: Uru (OO-roo)

God/Goddess?: God

Age: Immeasureable

God of: Dragons/Fire

Appearance: Think the Balrog. A large, firey dragon with bull-like horns.

Personality: Wrathful. Very wrathful.

Powers: He can control and create fire at will.

Homerealm: Paraun (para-ra-OON), his prison, ceated by Lilani (lil-ON-e), goddess of water, and Silvana (silv-ANNA), goddess of the moon.

Weapon of Choice: I have to draw a picture. It origianly belonged to Silvana, but he stole it and changed it so much that she could no longer use it and had to destroy it.

You can be a charrier! Here is the plot for the book:

The story is about an adventerous woman who must break a curse, evade an unwanted lover, and overcome three challenges to win the hand of a love interest.  Assistance comes in the form of a dear companion. She discovers that she doesn't actually love the love interest, but the dear companion.

The unwanted lover has been created, see below.

Name: Sildrun

Age: 17

Position in plot: The main charrie's unwanted lover

Weapon: Short dagger

Appearance: Blonde hair and striking blue eyes. Lightly tanned skin. High cheek bones and a dreamy look in his eyes. He's really handsome.

Race/Species: Human

Job: A prince of one of the neighboring kingdoms on the mountain?

Personality: Chatty and dreamy. Kind of vain, every woman loves him, but his heart is set on the main character.

Backstory: I'll come back to that.

How they know the MC: he's her unwanted lover.

So the main positions we still need are the MC (F), the love interest (M), and Main companion (M).  Coconut the dog wants to make the MC, but has not done so as of yet. I need to get her to do so ...

Here is the charrie sheet to make the charries!
