Marked RP!Th

Marked RP!

This is my first RP, so please let it live!!!

This is based off of a book that I'm writing. Basically, in a land far far away....  some people have a mark on their wrist that gives them the power over 1 of the elements. (fire, water, light, wind, ice, earth, and darkness.) Multiple people can have the same Mark. Those who are Marked are considered outlaws, and are hunted by a group known creatively as .... The Hunt!

A little more on Marks...

Before someone gets a Mark, they will begin to have vivid dreams about their element. When they wake up one day,  they will feel a burning sensation on their wrist, and the Mark will appear. It cannot disappear, and is easy to hide.

So anyways, you can be one of the following:

Darkness Mark ( can control shadows) : 1 person only

Fire Mark ( can control fire) : 2 people

Water Mark ( can control water): 2 people

Light Mark ( can control lightning):  2 people

Wind Mark( can control wind ): 2 people

Ice Mark( can control ice/snow): 2 people

Earth Mark( can control plants): 2 people

Hunters: 3 people

Other( villagers, etc) 4 people

So, a total of 20 people can join!

Here's the charrie sheet:

Name:

Gender:

Age: ( 12 and up, please)

Role:( Hunter, Marked, Other)

Power: (If any. Note: The unMarked have NO powers)

Weapon: ( Only if you are a hunter)

Appearance:

Personality:

Backstory:

Have fun! I'll post my charries later.

Andra~

Andra hated the water.

She despised it. All of her troubles in life, every single one of her problems, had somehow been the water's fault.

First, her father's disappearance. Then, her brother's sickly lungs that had filled ever so slowly with the liquid that killed. The storm. Her mark. Being cast out by her village all because of a tossing, turning storm. And now, here she was, slowly dying because the water was nowhere to be found.

The hunters had come for her. Fleeing the forest, she had wound up in a dusty desert, barely escaping with her life. All she had brought with her was two new scars cutting across her back. Her dress was in tatters, and her hair was what a rat nest would look like if it was pink. If only she had a tiny morsel of food, one sip of water...

Andra collapsed in the sand, sinking halfway into the cursed dirt. She had no more strength left; this time, she was really going to die. It was quite ironic, actually, that the one who controlled the water would lose her life because she lacked it. With a deep, raspy breath that could've be her last, she whispered the words, "I'm sorry, mother."

Something far off into the distance caught her eye. No... her brain was deceiving her... it couldn't be...

The hot sun and Andra's dehydrated body played tricks with her eyes, causing her to see a strip of dark green on the faraway horizon. It had happened before; once, Andra had thought she'd seen a big lake in the middle of the barren wastland. Once, she'd seen her mother.

Now, the very-much-alive piece of forest seemed to be incredibly realistic. Could it be... no. But, if she was going to die anyway, why waste her last few minutes of life sinking into the shifting, dusty earth? Andra picked herself up; it took a few seconds, and began to limp toward the stretch of trees that could save her life.

~~~~~~~~~
Andra is heading toward the forest where the Hunters are, if that's okay with you all.
~Eliana
I walk through the forest, searching for more Marked. So far, nothing. The light shines in my eyes, making me remember Hazel, who used to be a Hunter. Then one day, she just left, disappeared, like Daeris. A thought comes to my mind. Maybe she got a mark, too? It seems impossible, but why else would she leave? She was always really quiet, but good friends with Silva.
The air around me gets hotter, and the sun starts to beat even more fiercly down on me. I look up, and see a desert at the edge of the forest. I didn't know there was a desert here! There's a lot I need to learn about the forest, I thought. I squint, and see a lone figure coming toward me. Could it be one of the Marked?
I backed up, finding a hiding spot near a pond. The figure stumbles into the forest toward the pond. I can now see that it's a girl, with pink hair that might have once been wavy, but now is only tangled in knots. She looks dehydrated and very weak. Good, I thing, An easy target. I wait until she bends down to drink, then creep up behind her, grabbing her arm. She turns around, scared, and the next thing I know, a gush of water comes toward me and my grip on her arm loosens. She wriggles away, and runs. When I clear the water out of my face, I see that she is running toward the camp. I smile. Good. Maybe the other's will be able to take care of her.
~~~~~

@ Bluebird, it's up to you whether Andra gets captured or not. I was thinking that since the Hunter's need two of the Marked, maybe they can capture two, then when they realize everything, they can release them while they run away.

@Everyone! Post! POST! Where is everyone?!

I haven't posted as Bat-Erdene yet, but I'm lost since all the other Huntersmare doing their own thing. What should I do?

You could make Bat-Erdene be hunting down another one of the Marked people.

Sorry, I know this is short!

~Bat-Erdene~

I draw out my bow and an arrow. I’ve been trailing a Marked
for a day, and I can’t back down now!

I think she must have a Wind Mark, from the way she runs. I’ve
glimpsed her blond hair a few times before, whipping around as she flees from
me. I’ve heard her screams as she sees me, using her wind to speed up before my
arrow can hit her.

Why couldn’t this Marked, this monster, be a bit less
powerful? Wind Marks are the worst. They blow away all of your arrows, and they
fly away from you with just a bit of strength. And, to make things worse, they’re
pretty.

Isn’t she tired at all? Tired from sprinting away from her
already-exhausted captor? I’ve also glimpsed her eyes a few times. Stormy grey,
wild, flashing. Like the tornado inside of her. A bit of fear, too. But no
fatigue. No weariness. Her evil soul is just like the wind, always blowing,
never stopping.

Never stopping.
