Boarding School

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Boarding School

Boarding School

"Dear Student," the sign on the door says, "You and your entire class are invited to the most highly esteemed boarding school in London. Do not fret, a plane flight has been arranged, and your belongings loaded on the plane. Please proceed to the buses."

Everyone was shocked, and some yelled out. But in the end, they proceeded to the buses, to start a new life.

So, here is how this will work:

Everyone will get to pick one subject they like the most, and that will be the place you live. The subjects are:

Math

Writing

Art

Physical Activity

And no trading cards/collectibles are allowed in the school. Music has to be very old, like classical or medieval. Ok, here is the Character sheet;

Name

Age: You have to be under 18

Favorite Subject: listed above

Appearance:

Gender:

Pet(s); Max. Three

Would you like to be an Assistant Writer? Assistant Writers help me write the story.

Do you want a Social or Academic Plotline?; Social Plotlines are about the events and friends and crushes and that stuff, while Academic Plotlines are about studying, and getting good grades, and being a nerd and that stuff.

Also, at any time, you can change part of you character, and that will have impacts on the story.

Ready to begin?

Motivational Speech: When this RPG started, we weent through about five pages A DAY. We slowed down, but we zoomed through, adding hundreds of posts in about a month. We need to do that again. Whenever you have a moment, post some small tidbit of information about your charrie's day, or ideas for the plot, which Annabeth and I will monitor.

Also, I think we should do another dance, maybe next Friday night? Maybe the week after that?

I'm using Azalea and a new charrie: Cobalt (see Annabeth's thread).

Azalea~

Sunlight filters through the huge mansion windows. I stand in front of the gym mats stretched on the hardwood floor in front of me, arms up. Taking a deep breath, I focus my concentration and begin my floor routine. Heartbeat accelerating, muscles tensing, sweaty hands meeting the mat and then pushing off again, bare feet pointing, flexing, landing: this is why I love gymnastics. I sync my movements to the music coming from the CD player I "borrowed" from Aunt Margret's room. My short hair swishes around my ears as I gather speed for another flip; I barely have time to twist into position before my feet hit the mat again. Then the music clicks off. Rolling gracefully to my feet, I turn to see Aunt Margret facing me, her smile amused while the rest of her appears serious. Her free-flowing caramel hair is  tied back from her face and it looks tame for once. Glancing at the clipboard in my aunt's hands, I look up to meet her eyes.

"Another mission?" I say casually, as if commenting on her outfit (which looks amazingly straight and perfect as always. How does she do that? I must take tips).

"Go put on something less...pink. I need you to infiltrate an eccentric new accademy. Also, I need for you to look 15."

Cobalt~

Another school. More teachers who try to force-feed me instructions I've already memorized. More counselors who try to map out my brain on paper and tell me to get my life together. Great. Let's hope I don't explode anything else this time.

Haha, Nebula you actually reminded me that I wanted to ask people if anyone was willing to develop a crush/ have a relationship with Sasha!

If you want, I don't mind shipping Sashron (Sasha/ Aron)

Claire~

I had been reading a book in study hall when the teacher pulled me aside.

Why was I reading in study hall instead of getting homework done? I finished it in class.

How did I finish it in class? I completed the in-class assignment.

How on Earth is that possible? I guess I'm just smart.

So when the teacher pulled me aside, I supposed it must have been because I wasn't doing homework. I had already come up with my entire excuse (being a budding author, I've become good at story telling. My friends say what they are are lies, but inside every lie is a story. They just don't seem to understand that) before she and I had stepped into the hall. But she didn't tell me I was in trouble. She told me I had an opportunity.

"A boarding school is looking for our brightest students, and we told them about you."

"Wha- what do you mean?"

"Don't be modest, dear. Your Art grade is exquisite, your Science amazing, there isn't a historic event you don't know, and your Language Arts grade is... Honestly, how did you get higher than an A+? Is that even possible with our current grading system?"

"Extra credit," I mumbled.

"Seriously, the only thing you don't excel at is Math, but even there you still get at least Bs. Now, your plane leaves in two hours. Your parents have already been called, and they've packed your bags. The school will drive you to the airport where your family will see you off."

"Wow. This is amazing!" I yelled, bolting for the door. Then, I stopped in my tracks, turning at the teacher, "What exactly does this boarding school teach? Like, specialize in?"

"Oh, they aren't the ones who are going to be teaching. You are."

Nobody else has posted, so I'll write more anyways.

Azalea~

I change out of my gymnastics outfit into a sweater and jeans. Aunt Margret gives me the details of the mission while I glide from stuffed, walk-in closet to jewelry armoir to mirror, completeing my look as a 15-year-old shy-but-stylish highschooler.

"You need to be older in order to make contact with the confident. He is also 15. I have arranged for you to take the same classes as him. Your job is to gather and report all the information the confident has picked up until now, then I will arrange for you to be taken out of the school. Remember—"

"If one of us is discovered, the other must complete the mission. I know, Aunt M," I finish. Our agency doesn't work like spy movies. Usually, a spy like me meets an already established person in the facility who is somewhat in contact with the spy network. We get the information, report it, offer backup if necessary, and get out. Perfect. I finish brushing on my make-up, trying to make it darker and more mature that usual.

"How do I look?" I question, posing in the mirror.

"Ready to take on the world," my aunt replies.

@Ember in the ashes, I would really appreciate you running things big by me. For example, you just suddenly said that your character could be a teacher. I'm sorry to say, but the system has been set up: there are a writing, art, math, and PE teachers, Gared, Lillian, Abby and Thomas; there can not be any more teachers. I'm really sorry about this.
