CB Story
People fear what they cannot understand, and magic is not easily understandable. Magic and whimsy is the stuff of storybooks— Pleasant in concept, but thankfully not real. Definitely not real.
Except.
Sometimes, a child is born with a spark in their fingertips, able to draw the magic zipping through the air into their hands and do incredible things. It's heredity, but it's rare. Often, the magic will skip generations, or even wait eons before appearaing again.
Nobody knows this, though, because once a child like this is born, they are whisked off, to live a life different from everyone else, a life of treetops, and cool night breezes, and magic cupped in one's hands.
They are whisked off to join the Crew.
The Crew is a group that is few among the population of the world, tucked safley in a tiny forest in Nowhere, USA. There, the few that are graced with the power of magic learn. Learn how to use it to build and not to destroy, learn how to control it, and learn how to keep it to yourself.
It's not a bad life.
Just. . . It's hard not to wish once in a while that you were normal.
RULES
~ Only 10 people, please. I may stretch the amount up to 11 or 12, but after the story starts, the cutoff is the cutoff. No exceptions.
~ I pick your powers and the strength of your magic. You can suggest if there's a particular one you want, but keep in mind you may not get it.
~ Just sayin', you could die.
~ I am using the same system as Brookeria (your story is amazing, by the way, Brooke) with mains, secondaries, and tertiaries. I choose these, but please say your preference if it exists.
~ This is not a RP. You can write diary entries and such if you wish, but I control the plot fully.

Hello! I'm new here, but I've been reading along and not posting so I know how this sort of thing works, I believe. I've also creepily stalked a bunch of you, but please, introduce yourselves. I'm Whimsy, I'm a nerd, girl gamer, and proud of it. I like writing, but I haven't written anything in a while so I may be out of practice.
If there is a story already existing with this concept, I shall apologize profusely, hand you chocolates, and please let me know how I can tweak this to make it unique!

Hi Whimsy! Welcome to CB. I'm a nerd gamer like yourself :)
Name: Danielle Westfall. (Not my real last name, don't you worry about a thing) (I would prefer the name 'Danie', but whatever you like)
Appearance: Messy Dirty blond hair, light brown eyes, a little below average in height. Blue glasses, doesn't really care what she wears.
Personality: Nerdy, socially awkward. Weird and funny(I guess) with friends, a daydreamer, can become hostile towards people who interupt her thoughts. A Childish Charm (*shrugs* Ask my friends), can't hold grudges for long and sensitive. Somewhat gullible. Likes Video Games and Drawing.

Appearance: (Humanize it, please.) Long white hair, sea green eyes, very pale. Wears shorts or cutoff jeans. Is probably wearing a sailor-esque shirt or fandom tee (I have a Marvel Comics Secret Wars shirt, so I'd be wearing that).
Personality: A massive nerd, smart, cares about her friends while simultaneously being an introvert. Kind of sassy.

Appearance: Fairly tall, golden-blond hair, muddy green eyes.
Personality: It depends. l act very differently around different people, but *generally* speaking, l'm intorverted, kind of dark and sarcastic, l don't really talk unless it's important, l'm fairly calm and tend to think things through, but l am impulsive sometimes.

Kestrel, I hadn't really thought about AEs. While they are amusing, I don't think they will fit well in this story's universe, so no. Thank you for bringing that to my attention!

Appearance: Black hair, long and straight. Wears white rimmed glasses with her hazel eyes, which shine like gold in the sunlight. Pale skin, always carring a book.
Personality: Shy, but brave. If you know her and she knows you, then she will even die for you. Sarcastic periodically. always has her nose in a book, and dreams of becoming an author someday.
MC? If possible. If not, I would like to be a secondary.
Other: I don't excatly care if she dies, although I woud prefer her not to. ;);) If she must die though, try not to make it too gory. I don't want to sound bossy, but please. :)
