HP CB Story!

HP CB Story!

So I know there are already plenty of CB stories, but I couldn't resist.

ONLY 10 PEOPLE MAY JOIN.

THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM INKTAIL'S CBERS AT HOGWARTS STORY.

You are in your fourth year at Hogwarts. There have been rumors circling around that the Dark Lord is back, stronger, more powerful, and more cunning than before. He has more than 60 Death Eaters. They say he has evolved the Demontors to give you excrutiating pain before they suck out your soul. People- both Muggles and wizards- are going missing all across the country. You are going to try to stop him. I promise, it won't be easy.

I won't be in this, I will only be the writer. You use your CB names, appearances, and personalities for this, obviously. And one more thing: There will be four MCs, three secondaries, and three tertiaries. The charrie sheet:

Name:

Muggle, Half-blood, or Pure-blood;

Appearance:

Personality:

MC, Secondary, or Tertiary:

Wand type: (ex. 13 inches, cherry wood with a unicorn hair core)

Any pets:

I will kill you if I want. Mwa ha ha. And I will use your personality to determine what house you are in.

Alright. And without further ado, I present to you........

Part 1

St. Owl stretched and yawned. Her first official day as a fourth year! Feelings of excitement welled up inside her. But there were so many classes! She looked over at her schedule on the little table next to her bed. She had to take Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, and Herbology. Also, she had to take two of the extra required classes; she had chosen Divination and Care of Magical Creatures. What a lot! And Cho had said that the exams would be even worse this year. Ah well, She thought, I'd better get up. She pulled the red and gold curtains on her bed open and slid off the blankets. Brrr! The wood floor was so cold. She tiptoed quickly over to her chest and opened it, pulling out a long black robe and a rosewood wand.

The Great Hall was a hubbub of voices and clinks of glasses. Brookeira slid into a seat at the Ravenclaw table, next to her friend Alexandra. "Hey. Noisy, isn't it?" Alexandra nodded, not bothering to speak as she dug into a pile of pancakes slathered with butter and maple syrup. "Hi!" A girl walked up to them. "Look, Peeves just set off a firecracker. I bet Filch's gonna be-" She paused for effect- "Exploding mad." Brookeira laughed. "Ha- that's a good one. By the way, you look familiar. Have I met you before?" The girl's grey-blue eyes sparkled. "No, I don't think so. I'm St. Owl!" She shook Brookeira's hand firmly. "I'm Brookeira." Brookeira replied. Just then, St. Owl's name was yelled across the room. "I guess I have to go now," She said dissapointedly. "By the way, are you taking Defense Against the Dark Arts?" "Yep." "Great! I'll see you there, then." She hurried away across the hall, toward the Gryffindor table.

"Add one piece of boomslang skin and a teaspoon of Syrup of Hellebore, then stir vigirously clockwise for three minutes..." Elmodaisy's voice mingled with the clanks of Novelist's large spoon on the inside of her cauldron. They had been paired together for Potions, which neither of them had really wanted, but Professor Snape was looking their way, and they also did not want detention for not doing the work. So, however grudgingly, they did it.

It was just Novelist's luck to have double Potions with Slytherin, but Elmodaisy surprisingly wasn't as mean as the others. She bossed Novelist around a bit, sure, but she didn't bully her or anything. Not like the other girl Slytherins all huddled in groups around the room, whispering and giggling, pointing at her. She sighed. Now what was it- stir clockwise for three minutes? Yes, that would do.

I'm going to try to add more description, even though it's not my best hand. But tell me how you like it! Part 2 will introduce some more people, and the four MCs will meet each other. Elmodaisy already knows Novelist and Brookeira already knows St. Owl, but they all need to meet up, so that will happen sometime in part 2...

...And I have some free time now, so,

Part 2

The atmosphere in the Divination room was, to say, gloomy. Thick purple fog billowed around, creating hazy shapes that vanished with a puff of air. The tables were covered with purple tableclothes, placed around the room in a semi-circle. Students sat in purple beanbags or chairs, drowsily staring at Proffessor Trelawney. Her shrill voice droned on about how tea leaves could be used, if carefully, to tell the future... Novelist was not paying any attention to her. Her parents were the ones who had wanted her to get experience in Divination, not her. She turned around in her seat, scanning the room for possible friends. Since not many people were taking Divination that year, all the houses had been put together in one class. There were a couple Gryffindors, some other Hufflepuffs, a couple Slytherins, and three Ravenclaws. Altogether, a pretty mixed bunch.

She caught the eye of a Ravenclaw who was waving to her. Hastily scribbling a note on a spare piece of parchment, Novelist took out her wand. It was rowan wood, with a dragon heartstring. Her parents had taken her shopping in Diagon Alley for it the minute she got her acceptance letter. It was flexible, too, something that Novelist liked in a wand. She quickly folded the note into a little paper airplane and pointed her wand at it. "Locomotor airplane!" She whispered. It suddenly became light and floaty. Taking care that Proffessor Trelawney had her back turned, she took aim and launched the paper airplane.

Brookeira caught the airplane as it hovered over her table. Quickly slipping it into the folds of the tablecloth where Professor Trelawney couldn't see it, she unfolded it. Wow, what messy handwriting! She thought in amazement. The contents of the note were this:

Hey! My name's Novelist. Do you want to meet me outside at lunch? I have someone you might want to meet.

She smiled. Well, she did too. She gave a thumb's-up to Novelist.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The four girls stood in a group outside in the courtyard. Novelist, Brookeira, St. Owl, and Elmodaisy. "So... has anyone heard the rumor? That the Dark Lord's back?" Elmodaisy gave the others a fearful look. "What? You mean- you mean- You Know Who?" Brookeira gasped. "I can't imagine!" "What, really? Oh, it's just a silly rumor. I don't give a hoot about Voldemo-" Three pairs of hands covered three mouths. "DON'T SAY THE NAME!" Novelist yelled. "What? I don't see what the fuss is about saying his name." St. Owl shrugged. Elmodaisy regained her composure. She took a deep breath. "Well, it's- a lot of people think that if you say the name, the Dark Lord might kill you." St. Owl laughed. "Well, I don't think he's back anyway. Nobody's had any news of him for over three years, and I don't think he's coming back now. Let's talk about something else, okay?" Brookeira pulled a mini clock out of her bag. "Oh, I've got to go. Double Charms with Hufflepuff. Novelist, you'd better come, too." "Wait!" Elmodaisy said curiously. "I was just wondering...does anybody know who the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is?" They all shook their heads. "Well, I guess we'll find out sooner or later. I hope he's not nasty!" St. Owl said. "Look- we've really got to go now. See you at dinner, alright?" Novelist and Brookeira hurried off, toward the castle. Elmodaisy waved goodbye to St. Owl, and strolled off in the direction of the owl's tower.
So, yeah! I'm thinking that the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be kind of mysterious. @Cho, please make your charrie sheet soon. @Everyone else who hasn't gotten shown yet, don't worry. Part 3 will have more people shown.
I'm Leafpool, but Jack-a-Nat made a New CB Name Day, so this is the name I'm using for today. Note: It's not my real name.
I'll either do Part 3 later today or tomorrow, but I'm feeling kind of tired right now. I have some...ideas for Part 3, though.
Great, Cho! And I already put you in Gryffindor.
Part 3
Professor Flitwick's high-pitched, thin voice made Brookeira flinch. All the other Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs were doing as he instructed, using their wands to Summon scrolls from the shelves.
She saw Kestrel, Somebody, and Alexandra, besides some others that she had acquainted herself but not really became friends with grouped around one table. Kestrel's blond wavy blond hair dipped in front of her eyes as she smiled at Brookeira. They were friends from her village; they lived close together.
Professor Flitwick called for order, and then as everyone sat down, he gave out the day's homework.
3-page long reports on the usefullness of Summoning spells, Brookeira thought. Oh goody.
"Rivers, are you listening?" Professor McGonagall's voice cut through Winnie's daydream. "I said, Rivers, are you listening?" she said again with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Several titters from the Slytherins slipped out.
"Wha-yes, Professor." She sat upright. "Inkytail, Inkytail, Inkytail the half-blood." A not-very-well disguised voice jeered. "That will be quite enough, Flemming." Professor McGonagall said icily. "Transfigurations class is dismissed." Winnie grabbed her bag and half-ran out the door, followed by a crowd of Slytherins. She was the one they all teased, maybe because she was always a bit forgetful. But you can't blame a person for that, can you?
She hurried down the hall, up several flights of stairs, and up to the portrait of the Fat Lady. 'Password?" The Fat Lady said gloomily. "Uh- D.A.?" "Sorry, dear, that was last week's password. I need this week's password." Winnie scrunched her eyebrows together. "I know it started with p... Poprocks? Potter, Harry?" The Fat Lady shook her head. "I'm sorry, but that's wrong."
Just then, a group of Gryffindors walked by, laughing at a joke one of them had just made. She recognized St. Owl and Cho Chang, but the others she had only seen a couple times.
"Having trouble, Inktail?" St. Owl said kindly. "Pentagon," She said, flicking a glance at the Fat Lady. "Correct!" She said jubilantly, swinging open. They all climbed through into the Gryffindor common room. It was completely empty, except for one small first year girl reading a book in one of the big armchairs by the fire. "There you are, Jenna!" Winnie said, rushing toward her. "Winnie! You're back! I've been waiting forever." The little girl hugged her, tucking her long blond hair, straight like Winnie's, behind her ear. She had glasses just like Winnie's, too.
Winnie saw the group of Gryffindors staring at them. "Um...this is my little sister, Jenna." Jenna shook her head. "I'm not little! I'm eleven years old, Inktail!" Cho sat down. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Jenna. Oooh, I'm tired. In Care of Magical Creatures, Hagrid had us running around with those- with those-" "Nifflers?" Winnie suggested. "Yeah, Nifflers. It was kinda fun, but they pulled me over more than once. I'm all over."
Winnie stood up. "Well, I'm going up to the dormitory to do some homework before dinner. Oh, and is anybody trying out for the Quidditch team tomorrow? I think I might. Otherwise, I might not get that much time to ride my broom." Several people chorused yes. Winnie then climbed up the rickety stairs to the dormitory.
The girl's dormitory was completely empty. Winnie rolled over onto her side. She had done some homework, but then decided that what she really needed was a rest. So here she was, lying on her bed.
Suddenly, she heard a tap-tap-tap on her window. It couldn't be...Cherry, her barn owl, was sleeping in her cage, hooting softly as she snored. Nevertheless, Winnie hopped off the bed and unlatched the heavy old-fashioned window.
A big, light brown owl swooped in and began fluttering around the room. She jumped up, trying to catch it. What a strange owl. Usually they would just  give you the letter, and then go off on their own business...did this one even have a message? As if to answer her question, it hovered over her bed and dropped and old, crinkled, parchment scroll, then zoomed off through the still-open window. Winnie shook her head in puzzlement, closing the window.
Several minutes later, St. Owl and her friends came up the stairs. "Is everything okay? We heard thumping noises." Winnie seemed as if in a daze. "Yeah...fine... read this."
St. Owl took the scroll from her and unrolled it. She read it silently, her eyes growing wider and wider every minute.
"You six who are seeking me though you do not know it,
Look to me, heed to my words.
None who are Muggles shall enter to find me,
Yet neither shall the high-stepping Pure Bloods.
Only the ones of blood like mine, will be permitted to enter,
The others shall meet
An untimely defeat,
The wizards who seek me for sure."
St. Owl looked at Winnie. "What is this? Six people seeking someone? Muggles and Pure bloods? It doesn't even rhyme. I think you'd better tell me where you got this."
Like it? I spent more time on this than I did parts 1 and 2. Part four will come tomorrow!
