Pola~
The sun dips slowly down the horizon, illuminating everything in its orange glow. Alma and Leo have already left for the border. Ethan and Aspen are still here, and Theron and Nebula are back at their homes. I walk slowly back to the clearing, ideas buzzing softly through my head.
I had just been in Nebula's house, asking her about an idea. I decide to ask Aspen about it as well. I absently stroke Kallik, and she nuzzles me softly.
When I walk back to the clearing, Ethan is gone. I sneak up on Aspen, and, in a creepy impression of Ethan, whisper "Nice of you to join us this evening". He jumps, and I giggle. "Got you." He turns around and grins. "You wanted to talk about something?" I nod. "Yeah. I was thinking....... You know how sometimes my dreams come true? Well, I've been having this feeling.... It's like I know that Darkclan isn't done yet. They'll gather their forces. They'll be back. And we can't fight them alone. So what if...... What if we made our own army? We could go home for a month or two, and find recruits. We could set up our base in the polar world, since that's the farthest from Darkclan. Aspen, we could fight them." I finish this speech in a sort of half whisper. Aspen's face grows thoughtful, and as the last rays of dawn throw their light on his hair, giving it a soft glow, I know that he's my best friend. I couldn't possibly bear parting with him. But he has a life as a Sundrop. I couldn't force him to leave all of that for me. Becuase I know that I probobly wouldn't last long in that horrible heat. Kallik wouldn't either.
Aspen looks at me. "I think...." he says slowly "that that might just work." My heart leaps inside me. "But" he continues "I think that we'd need the other's approval first." I nod fervently. "Awesome!" I glance around at the darkness. "I'm going to need somewhere to stay. Maybe I'll ask Nebula." Aspen shrugs. "She didn't seem in the best of moods. You could stay with Alma." I grin. "If she'll let me, sure." Just as we are leaving, I stop. "Aspen..... If you're going to stay as a Sundrop.... If we don't raise an army.... Then I'm going to really miss you." He stops as well. "Me too, Pola. Me too."

Oh yeah, good idea! Bluebird, could we say that Aspen turns 15 a few weeks ahead of Pola? Because Aspen should probably be a little older than Pola.
And what does everybody think about the battle idea? We could say that Leo didn't want to, because Chinchilla's not here.
