I'm writing a story (duh) and it's about a mermaid that falls in love with a sailor after she gets captured, but then the sailor hates her because he THOUGHT she tried to run away but she was actually trying to find some food. And when that all comes clear to him, he loves her again, but when the mermaid hears about stuff he doesn't like, she starts to worry that she picked the wrong person. That she should have gotten to know him before. Meanwhile, the sailor is just trying to make everything better, but he's failing.

Wow. That's depressing. What happens at the end?

Umm, I really don't mean to be offensive, but that sounds kinda generic. Maybe you should throw in something more unexpected.

Generic? *frown* I don't think so. Depressing? Yeah, a bit, but that's not a bad thing. I think it sounds good.

Your name's Allessandra? That's cool.
