Hey guys!!! I'm kind of freaking out right now, because....THERE'S LESS THAN TWENTY DAYS UNTIL THE FINALS FOR MY WRITING COMPETITION, AND I AM ELIGIBLE FOR PLENTY OF AWARDS, BUT I'M KIND OF FREAKED OUT THE PROMPTS WON'T BE GOOD AND MY PEN WILL RUN OUT OF INK AND THAT I WON'T WRITE WELL!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAH!!!!!
Kit Kat, I suggest you bring an extra new pen (or two) if that's allowed, so you won't have to worry about running out of ink. And I would think whoever prepares the prompts thinks about what to use for a long time to be sure they'll be great ones!

I think that you don't need to be nervous, you'll do fine. Ever since I read that story about the holocaust you wrote, I think you are the best writer on here. And I don't just say that sort of thing. By the way, what contest is it that you're entering?

Arrrrrghhhh. I got my *insert big, overexagerrated finger quotes* official rankings for the competition. I got 116! 116th place!!!

How many people were there? I'm not really biased toward you - I don't know you well enough - and I can see, even from my non-biased position (except that you're obviously of a superior breed, having the sense to Chatterbox) that you're a good writer. And the exerpt you gave was pretty good, I thought. Here's a tissue, and don't feel bad about it. :( *commiserates wildly*

Um, like, 600 overrall, so in my grade level, ummm....probably 300? OOh, but exciting news! our team placed 14th out of 200 other schools!!!!!!! But still....116th place....and now tournament season's over, and i have to try out all over again for the team next year, and then i have to try to qualify for the writers on the team, (writers and backup) and then do good at districts so I can qualify for regionals, and hopefully qualify for state....all over again!!!!!!

Well, the story exerpt you gave was great! I'm actually 1/32 Cherokee, so yeah, I enjoyed it!
