This is Jack-a-Nat. I'm your LA teacher!
Basically, every day I will give you a journal prompt and you will have to journal about it. BUT, you first have to make a realistic charrie, and that charrie will be the one journaling. So, really get to know your charrie. One charrie per person, this is not an RP, and I'll post as Miss Flora, who is your LA teacher!

Age: 26, just graduated from graduate school
Appearance: Mexican: Silky, long brown hair in a side braid, medium-light brown skin; brown eyes.
Personality: Is sweet, kind, caring, and helpful. Greets every class with an 'Hola, buenos dias!', even her LA classes (read more below).
Backstory/Other: Teaches LA in the morning, Spanish in the afternoon.This is her first year of teaching.

Apperance: Oriental: black short hair, normally in a loose bun, dark dark brown eyes, pale skin.
Personality: Kind, brave, shy. Timid and doesn't talk much. LOVES LA and really wants to please Miss Flora.
Backstory: She's just an average 6th grade girl. But some big changes might be coming up...

Gender: Female
Age:Hmmmm. . . I don't know. . . maybe. . . 11?
Appearance: Caramel-colored skin, honey blonde hair, hazel eyes, freckles, medium height, wears t-shirts and shorts, and loves her handmade charm bracelets from Brazil (she never takes them off) .
Personality: Shy, dreamy, hates public speaking, has alot to say, but won't speak up, introvert, loves Ms. Flora
Backstory/Other: She's a Brazilian/Caucasian mix; her parents are divorced, she loves Brazil more than anything, but lives with her mother in ummm. . . (insert name of city here). She wants to visit her father, but hasn't gotten the chance. The only thing she has are Brazilian woven and beaded bracelets from her grandmother.

Appearance: honey blonde hair, with a strand dyed with dark purple plum to light purple to hot pink. dark gray eyes, with light violet reading glasses. dark red freckles, across her nose. and red lips, she doesn't wear any makeup exept a little nail polish which would either be gold or blue. She wears locket with her mom and Dad in it.
Personality: She is really talkative but she can' make friends easily she only has a couple, she doesn't like when she gets bullied or when any of her friends do, which is often since people think that they're nerds, outsiders, and No ones; it doens't bother her so much but one day she is too mad and stops it.
Backstory/Other: Her parents died in a house fire when she was eight, so she lives with her aunt (who is not married). Her aunt is nothing like the one in Harry Potter; she is sweet and was her mom's identical twin so it is almost like her mom is still there, except her Aunt is completely different in personality but she is the sweetest person Cass has ever met.

Sighing, I run up the stairs to my dorm. My roommate is already working, and I hastily sit at my desk. Pulling out my first book, I look at it. LA. Awesome! Grinning, I look at the assignment.
"Write about being a news reporter."
The smile melted off my face faster then butter on a hot biscuit. I sighed and flipped open my new LA book.
If I was a news reporter, I would love to report about the weather, and be their eye in the sky. I would fly helicopters high in the air, and use videocameras to shoot footage of floods, storms and fires. I would defenitly report on WDSU.
Then the second assignment came.

She drops her aqua-green backpack on the table with a thud. The zippers part, spilling dozens of books and a handful of carved wooden beads from Brazil. Sighing, Rio bends down to pick up the beads and books, grabs her backpack, and heads up to her room.
In her room, she pulls her favorite composition notebook out of her backpack, her Language Arts notebook. She cracks it open to the first page and re-reads the prompt: If you were a news reporter, what would you report about? Rio smiles to herself. This will be easy. She reaches into her pencil pouch for her favorite pencil, and begins to write.
If I were a news reporter, I’d travel to a million different countries and cover the Summer and Winter Olympics. I’ve always wanted to travel, but I don’t have a passport, and my mother doesn’t want to get one for me just yet. I would be able to travel every two years, not too much, and not too little. I would also be able to watch the Olympics live instead of on my grandmother’s staticky TV. And maybe, the games would be in Brazil, and I could visit my father again. She puts her pencil down, thinking. But when there aren’t Olympics, I’d love to be a fashion reporter and report on the latest styles and designers. Smiling to herself, she closes the notebook and takes out her math textbook.

"Write about being a cheesecake."
I stared at my book, confused.
"Uh...Rio? Write about being a chess cake? "
She laughed. "No, silly. Write about what you would invent to be a type of cheesecake!" I blushed.
"I, uh, must of, er, got the wrong assignment.." I muttered. She laughed.
I would invent something called 'Chin-eese Cake.'(Ha! Pun!) It would have starlings in it. Kidding!!! In it, there would be rice, the ingredients for a regular cheese cake, and hugs-my secret weapon. It would have a creamy texture, aND the color would be a light light yellow, from the rice. It would taste dee-lish!
