Vampire/Werewolves RP

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Vampire/Werewolves RP

Vampire/Werewolves RP

Note: This is not in any way based on Twilight, may it rest in tiny charred pieces. On the bottom of shoes. In landfills.

In this roleplay, we will be kids of today who are at the Schimbantor/Viteze family reunion, when they discover that their relatives/close friends are in fact werewolves or vampires.

This is the only time which the werewolves and vampires call a truce: Every fifty years, at a full moon. After that, they disperse into packs, hiding, or pretending to be human in civilazation.

All our charries will be sixteen: the "best age" to be initiated. (If youwant, you can ask to have a different age) But at the reunion ... trouble will break out.

Types of werewolves:

Street Packs are homeless gangs wandering the streets, usually using extortion and threats to get what they want. They are hard, tough, and not afraid to use their abilities.

Societal Packs are werewolves who secretly meet at places like country clubs (they have a code to get into a secret room). They are very civilized and pretty good at controlling their instinct. They have a code not to kill.

Heritage Packs are the smallest, usually just a family. They have a very tight bond as both pack members and family members.

Of the three, Street Packs are the most protective of their "territory." Societal Packs' territory usually consists of their club and lands under a five-mile radius. Other than vampires or werewolves of a different pack, Societal Packs don't care about humans on "their" territory. Heritage Packs usually only consider their home and property to be theirs, but guard it almost as viciously as street packs.

Societal Packs tend to have a "you ignore us, we ignore you" policy on vampires.

Heritage Packs are distrustful but not outright enemies to vampires.

Street Packs love to hear vampires' screams.

Werewolves have heightened speed, strength, hearing, and smell. They can also turn into wolves.

Vampires types: Chiropteran, Nosferatan, and Modern.

Vampires usually live alone. Chiropterans have bat wings (even in non-bat form) and Nosferatans have elongated fangs and very large eyes. Nosferatans live underground more often than not. Moderns look like humans with no canine teeth; this is because their fangs stay in their jaw until ejected.

Moderns have the same policy on werewolves as Societal Packs.

Nosferatans are distrustful but not outright enemies to vampires.

Chiropterans love hauling werewolves into the sky and dropping them.

They have increased hearing and can pass through some (but not all) solid objects. Fangs and bat-transformation.

So! Now that we're done with all that boring information ...

Sorry, I didn't elaborate the little I made up. Basically, pick whatever numbers you want, and yes, the same thing happens for the werewolves. XD

I didn't really plan this part out ...

Then why did Tati get taken down to that place? And what is the type of vampire Alycianna is? I'm confused about that. Can we make Tati be first instead and Alycianna go later so I can make up what happens with her?

What do the numbers stand for? What's going on? Can we start over?

Everybody is being initiated. The numbers tell what you would be, werewolf or vampire. The second number tells what type they become, Modern Street pack, etc.

I still don't get how the numbers work...

M'kay. Just keep reading then, and hopefully you'll figure it out, because that's as simple as I can make it.

Scratch out my post about her being first.

~Alycianna

We're waiting for Tati to come back, and the whole room is silent. Suddenly, Aunt Matilda comes back in, without Tati, "Alycianna Viteze, daughter of John Viteze, human..." She narrows her eyes at me, almost glaring. What did I do? "And Rosemary Viteze... vampire... deceased."

I stand up, walking over to her, and she pushes me roughly toward a door, climbing up wiith me, and leading me to a small room, "Go in."

I walk in, and see a crystal ball. After a while of waiting, I pick it up, and a number appears, a nine, with leaves and vines all over it, flowerbuds openning, blooming, a picture of life. I smile, then the buds begin to whither, and I frown. The nine disappears, in it's place a thirteen, coal-black with pinprickes of red, still covered with the vines and flowers, but all of them whithered and dead by now. I shiver, the ball cold in my hands now, and put it down, as the thirteen disappears. I walk out, and Aunt Matilda asks, "What numbers did you get?"

"Nine, then thirteen."

She looks at me in a silence for a while, then says, almost hesitantly, "What did they look like?"

"Well, the nine was covered with flowers and vines and all that... it was really pretty."

She nods, "Like your mother, like your mother. The thirteen?"

"The flowers and vines all whithered up, and the blackground was black with bits of red. It was exactly the opposite of the nine."

Her eyes widen, and she shakes her head slowly. After a while, she she says softly, "Alycianna... you're numbers are the same ones your mother got."

I nod, confused, "So?"

"Those are dangerous numbers. Your mother died because of them."

I stare at her, proccessing this information, "What... how? They're just numbers."

She raises her eyebrows, "Just numbers? They mean so much more than that. Come with me."

"Where are you taking me?"

"To where your friend Tatianna is. Seems like dangerous vampires come in pairs."

"What happened to Tati? Why are we dangerous? What... explain everything! Yesterday I was just a normal girl, not knowing about all this vampire and werewolf stuff, and now you're telling me I'm dangerous? And Tati's dangerous? And my own mother died because of all this vampire stuff?"

Suddenly, I'm angry. This is my mother we're talking about! Rosemary Viteze! "What happened to my mother?"

She sighes, "Just. Come. I'll explain later, when you and Tatianna are together. One explanation is better than two. And the others are still waiting."

I nod, following her silently, as she takes me to a room. I open the door, and Tati looks up, startled, "Aly!" She cries, standing up.

"Tati!" I rush into the room to hug her, as the door slams and we hear a click of a lock. We look at each other, "Tati... we're stuck here."

Two Vitezes have  already gone in, and neither has come out. I'm confused, and a bit nervous. Looking to Serene, I ask, "What do you think they're doing?"

Serene looks back at me. "I think it can't be something that changes from person to person if two people are in there at the same time."

Serene. She's always so clever.

In the meantime, yet another Viteze has gone in.

"What if it's something to do with working together?" I whisper.

"It could be, but wouldn't they have sent three people in at the same time then?" Serene asks.

"Woman!" I stage-whisper, and flick her in the back. "Who asked you to be so smart?"

"Twit!" Serene throws a napkin in my face. We erupt in laughter, until we're shushed by the the other Schimbantors.

~Tati~

"Yeah. And I have no idea why." I grumble. "Aunt Tilda is fetching the "Elders", whoever they are." I say, making air quotations with my fingers. As soon as I finish, Matilda storms in, three men behind her.

"These are the two." Auntie says, her lips tight with -- dread, it seems. One of the men nods, and Auntie leaves.  "Now, what were the numbers you got?" he asks, his voice deep and rough, like a dog growling. And it's funny, because he even looks like a slightly a greying dog.

"Um, a nine, and a seventeen. The nine was whispy and curving, as if someone had written it with a sparkler. Then when the seventeen appeared, it started kinda burning and-"

Another of them cuts me off. He looks so much like Tilda, I'm almost positive they're siblings. "She is too dangerous. Her mother must have married an unidentified werewolf." he says, scribbling something down on a clipboard. "Yes, if she is not claimed by both, and turned into an abomination ... she could destroy us."

"Aye. The Viteze family would be gone for guid this time." the third man says. He has flaming red hair, an Irish accent, and yet has ther looks of both of the other elders.

"So it's happened before?" Aly asks. they exchange glances before the Irish one replies. "It's happened too many times ter count. All those large wars, that's what they were about."

"That doesn't make sense." I say. "Well, see 'ere lil missy, it's loike this: both sides want a really powerful person, who could lead 'em to victory agains' their enemies. If one soide has one 'o 'em, they are going to win -- as long as their champion doesn't get compromised."

"What about Mum?" Aly asked. "Your mum. Splendid woman she was. It was last war. You'd call it WWII. I was one 'o 'em chosen ones for the werewolves. I was initiated as one, and then we began another war. I became compromised, and ye mum tried to capture me lose power,"

"Y'see, I had sooo much pow'r, that it all kinda jus' ... in the simplest terms, floated off into the air. Your mum manged to grab it all up -- but it was too much. It killed her, and ran off again, waiting to find someone else to go in ter. An' now it's finally picked someone else. You, Tati."

Aly lets out a loud gaspy shriek of dismay. "And I'm going to die -- grabbing her power?" Uncle nods. "Yes. Unless ... we do not finish the initiation." He says this in such a way that it gives me a tingle down my back.

"So ... we won't get to be vampires together?" Aly asks in a voice so quiet, it's almost a whisper. Dog-man grins toothily at her. "Yes ... if you don't want to die." he says cheerily.

"What's going to happen to me now?" I ask timidly. "Yer agoin' to go back in ter the mortal world. You'll be assigned a honor guard o'sorts, so you can't be claimed."

I can't help but let out a snort of laughter. "Really? I don't need that if it was only just us who know about this."

Uncle looks decidely grim. "Both families have ways of knowing. But we'll try to cover it up, say you were initiated without a problem."

"But why wouldn't you just claim me now, so you have the power?" at this, Uncle sighs. "Because we are few in number. The wolves will win -- unless we can keep you a secret. They don't like to fight unless they have a champion."

~~~~~~
So here's the plan: "Dog-man", AKA Rege Beta Lup Shimbantor will quietly spread the word to the other Shimbantors. They ambush Tati, her guard and her mother on they way out, after the truce is over.
And then, Tati -- a human then ... will be forced to become Rega Alpha. And then comes the bloodiest war yet. :D
Sound good?
Rega Alpha is a werewolf type, right? So werewolves will make her a werewolf, then Aly will, still a human, go after her. And Tati will have the power, so Aly will have to try to grab her power away from her and she'll... succeed? Then she will... somehow not die? Yeah, she could almost die from the power, then not die. Like, be half in the dead world, and half in the alive world. And she could see all these dead people like her mom, but decide to actually still be alive.
Serene~
"Serene, can I have a moment?"
The Dog-Man leered at Serene from a corner. She clutched her hands and swallowed. "Yes, sir."
She walked towards the back and was met with...
Maryn~
Two of the Viteze have gone in,but they havent come back.  I wonder if this is normal.  Aunt Tilda comes back; she looks worried. She steps up on the raised platform and calls the name of another Viteze.  I frown; I guess they arent coming back.  The Viteze nervously f ollows her out of the room.  A few minutes later, Aunt Tilda comes back with the Viteze behind her, looking happy.
One by one, each of the Viteze initiates leave and come back a few minutes later.  Finally my name is called.  I take a deep breath and follow Aunt Tilda down the stairs.  She shows me into a room and closes the door behind me.
There's a crystal ball sitting on a table in the middle of the room.  I walk over to it and pick it up, turning it over in my hands. I jump as spots of black appear all over it; it looks like ink.  It swirled around forming a number: 6.  It disappears quickly, and now theres a silver thing spinning to the top. When it stops spinning, it's the number fourteen.  It disappears and the crystal ball goes blank.  Puzzled, I turn around and head for the door outside of which Aunt Tilda is waiting.  But before I reach the door a light catches my eye; I spin around and see a fiery number two right before it disappears.  The crystal ball goes blank once more, and I open the door and leave the room. Aunt Tilda grabs my arm immediately.  "What did you see?" she asks.  "Well, first there was a kind of inky six, then it disappeared and a silver fourteen." I hesitated slightly, then continued, "And-"
Aunt Tilda had already started talking, "Good, you'll be- Wait, what were you going to say?".  " When I was leaving, I turned around and I thought I saw another number, a two, just for a moment."  Aunt Tilda frowned, "Are you sure?"  "Yes."  "Listen, do not speak of this to anyone.  Do you hear me?".  " All right, but why?,  I asked, confused.  "I need to speak to the Elders.".
She showed me upstairs, and I went and sat back down again.   I saw her whispering with a couple other people, and then she went back to the raised platform and called the next Schimbantor initiate.
@Cho, is this okay?  If not, just ignore the whole part about the third number.  If it is okay, would you like to make up what the third number means, or , at least, help me make up the meaning?  I didnt have anything in particular in mind; I just thought it would be kind of cool.
That's fine! Maybe  ... I've almost got it, but I can't wait around thinking, as it's getting late here. I'll probably come up with a couple other ideas later.
Sounds good! l’m still confused about the whole power thing and your character. You could have explained it tad clearer…..
Viper~
“But--but--that’s breaking the--”
“Shut up! We don’t want anyone to hear. And it wasn’t idea to tell you in the first place, you’re a vampire supporter--”
“Am not! And you know so.” l bare my teeth. The other werewolf snorts, softly. He’s small, younger then me, and far more foolish.
“We’re stronger than the vampires. This is our  chance. Spread the word. They’re going to try to leave tonight, with their champion, but we can ambush them.”
“How many?” l do not wish to get involved in this. It’s not going to end well, l can see it. I want to stay as far away as l possibly can.
“Two or three at most, they’re saying. They want to do it quietly.”
“Still….just a kid and her guard. Doesn’t seem exactly fair to drag everyone into it.”
“Oh, yes and l bet you would say that, you coward--” He growls, eyes alight with rage. “--Seeing what you are after all, l wouldn't put it past you--”
In a quick motion, the werewolf is thrown to the ground, forcefully, with vampire teeth dangerously close to his neck.
His eyes widen in fear, such a primitive fear that he is temporarily paralyzed.
“Y-y-you traitor.”
“Fool.”
He nearly screams, a wordless wolfish scream.
“Your word wouldn't save you now.”
I don’t bite him. I teach him a lesson. Don’t mess with me.
Stand up. Turn away. I have better things to deal with.
Behind me, l hear him scramble, unsteadily, to his feet.
“Traitor! I'll have you reported!”
I snort, softly. “Have fun with that. They can’t do a thing to me while l'm banished.”
He pauses, then:
“You’re the reason why vampires still exist.”
I could have ignored him. l have heard this a hundred times. I could have turned back. But l didn’t. Something in his voice made me turn, slowly, around.
“You are the reason this treaty even exists! Your kind, of traitors, of half-bloods, you will be the end of us.”
“.....My kind, you say? I have no kind.”
“Or so you think.”
“What do you mean?”
However, there is no answer, leaving me to stare into the darkening hall and left to only wonder.
Something tells me l need to be at this ambush, whatever it takes. I don’t like it, yes, but l don’t seem to have a choice.  I need to know what is happening.
