Welcome to Terryth, the capital of Soruah.
Terryth is now overrun with thieves and thugs, but the citizens dream of better days, when peace settles over the land and the criminals are put to justice. But alas, most know that this will never happen. The people live in fear of the criminals, afraid of the gangs that roam the streets.
To make matters worse, a sickness is spreading with no cure. The victims lie in pain for days, their mouths frothing and their fur falling out. They have hallucinations, mostly nightmares, and soon, after weeks of suffering, they die.
So the citizens are either leaving, or trying to stop the thrives and thugs. Those who chose to stay often die of the sickness, and those who live are either criminals or people with fear-stricken lives. But hope isn't dead. A fortune teller has foretold six animals who will master their strengths and bring peace back to Terryth. And those animals are coming soon.

So as you can probably tell, I'm creating an RP.
~RULES~
1. Be nice
2. You must be a land animal (birds are okay, but no penguins, seagulls, ect.). Reptiles are acceptable, but no sea turtles.
3. The technology must be a steampunk/sci-fi mix, including airships (blimps), mechanical limbs, ect.
4. There can be non-anthropamorphic animals, but they cannot speak.
5. You can be a: Prophizized animal (up to 6, including myself), thief (up to 2), or random person (up to 4). There are twelve spots in total.

Name: Gadgyt
Species: Red fox
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Gadgyt is roughly around 5'1", and he is lithe and slender. His left eyes is green, and the right is covered by a metal band that goes all the way around his head. He had regular fox markings (reddish fur, dark brown ears and paws, white tummy and tail tip), but he has spiky, black hair. His hair is longer in the front than it is in the back, and his fur is shaggy and spiky. Gadgyt wears a white tanktop, beige jean-shorts, a brown scarf, and a small bag. His ankles are wrapped in cloth, and his left arm is missing, and is replaced by a robotic one. His robotic arm is dark blue-gray, with warm gray fingers and joint.
Personality: Sly, cunning, and clever. Will develop more in the RP.
Backstory: His mother and father died from the sickness when he was young, and his arm was destroyed by a fire.
Power (if any): He can create any machine imaginable, but he doesn't know this yet.
Other: He's a mechanic in Terryth.

Only one. Also, if you make a bird character, make sure that the bird only has wings, and no hands at the end, and no extra limbs. Make that bird use it's wings as hands.

Appearance: looks like a bipedal tiger, orange fur, ears, tail claws, etc.
Personality: clever
Backstory: never knew her parents, always lived on the streets.
Power: can do minimum fire manipulation. can't create fire but when she discovers her powers she always has a lighter with her.
Other: is a prophesied animal

Species: Swan
Age: (no older than 21, no younger than 11) Just an 11 year old. Weak, and meek.
Gender: Female.
Appearance: (be detailed, but not too much detail) Umm...generic Swan? Has a streak of blue feathers on her head. Also, are all the people from this city animals?
Personality: Quiet, shy, very feeble, naive, easy to trust...
Backstory: Her family came from a long line of Swans dealing in magic. However, her magic troubles her, and she thinks it is a curse when in reality it is a gift.
Power (if any): (don't be OP!) She can go to other dimensions in her sleep, and it terrifies her because she has no control over it, and can die in these other dimensions, and her body in the real world, asleep, will also have died. Also, she gets tired very easily... I hope this isn't op!

Name: Paskal La'vinci
Species: Snow leapord
Age: 13
Gender: F
Appearence: feathery pelt, blue tinted paws and tail, metal bands around arms and tail, lacy blouse and pants, like most of her family wears the legthened claws as a sign of supremucy and difference.
Personality: Bossy and high, acts like a brat to cover how she really feels about things.
Backstory: she comes from a long line of La'vinci's, one of the richest families in Terryth. Her mother is terribly Ill with the disease and close to death, her father is spending their families money on the best doctors in soruah though there is little they can do. (They eventually lose all their money and Paskal and her father are forced onto the streets)
Power: Can shift her form to that of another snow leapord, (but its weak and comes in spasms)

APPEARANCE: Small, white, has keen blue eyes, and always seems as if she knows you're secrets
PERSONALITY: Shy, wise, klutsy, and funny.
POWER: She can make it snow.(doesn't know yet)
BACKSTORY: She was orphaned when she was a kit and then met an artic lynx who occasionaly helps her out(do you mind?). Easy target for gangs.

Okay, everyone, I have some important info for y'all. There are no public schools, but there are very expensive private ones. Basic jobs are: Mechanic, scientist, governor, teacher, doctor, and factory worker (factories make just about anything)
The government... Uh... I have no idea what to do for the government...
