I just watched a ton of X-Men, up to First Class, and I love it so much. In my opinion, it's better than Avengers, but that might be just me.
Anyway, I decided to make an RP. This is when Professor X is still alive-- we're students/professors at his school. His group of X-Men don't exist; we may become them.
You may have up to two characters, of different genders. Please, please, please make sure they're not OP. It's really no fun. No level fives, for example, and if your character has telekenesis they can't read minds too.
In the character sheet, for Level and Class, you can just Google "Mutant levels 1-5" and click on the first thing that comes up. It gives a simple guide that puts the point across.
On that note, my charrie:
Name: Mabel Liverforth
Mutant name: Medusa
Age: 15
Level: 3 (although incredibly powerful, she's not an Omega.)
Class: Gama
Powers: She can put people to sleep, freeze them, or turn them to stone. She doesn't know how to reverse the stone power, however. Her snakes are venemous.
Appearance: Green-skinned and yellow-eyed, with snakes for hair, Medusa is generally very creepy. She wears a black hooded sweatshirt usually, and leggings.
Personality: Paranoid, ambitious, and kind, Medusa hates being controlled and is a bit afraid of herself. She believes she should be contained, besides what Professor X tells her.
Backstory: Her mother was a policewoman put in charge of mutant affairs, and her father a lawyer. The day Mabel morphed into Medusa, she overheard her mother complaining about her subjects. Frightened of herself and her parents, Mabel ran away and eventually found the professor.

Hmm.........
This looks cool, but even though we actually have a big X-Men CD case somewhere, I've never watched X-Men.
However this RP looks interesting, I think I might join if I can get my head around the bits of the movie that will have something to do with the RP.
So, uh, after Googling that, here is my Character:
Name: Jack Bucket.
Mutant name: Were-Wolf.
Age: 14
Level: 2
Class: Gama.
Powers: He can morph into a bigger-than-normal Arctic Wolf at full moon. Unfortunately he originately couldn't control his powers when he was a wolf, so of course he used to be a crazed, blood-thirsty wolf that had one intent: Destroy. He's mastering the art of controlling himself at full-moon, and him and Mr. X are trying to find a way to make it possible for Jack to be able to morph into a wolf ANY time, wether full moon or not. Also somehow half-morphing.... but nothing that has to do with disturbing wires and test tubes.
Appearance: When not in wolf-form, he looks pretty human, except that he has whitish gray hair and very big canines. He has that look of the fight-or-flight thing about him. Tends to wear a gray jacket with constantly untying sneakers. He can only wear cotton since of a strange phenomoly, it's the only thing that re-materializes on his body after he changes from wolf form. When in wolf form he's a giant Arctic Wolf with giant, sharp, teeth.
Personality: He's shy around other people since he's not quite sure how to deal with them as he would either; Rip them to shreds, or, hug them and create a pack. Niether is what people like, as he has learned. He's often bullied by bigger kids, but he never fights back, because even in human form, their's always a tiny, vicious part of him that tends to think along the lines of:
Kill them, kill them all, puny humans no respect why do they taunt me when they see how powerful I am, oooh rip them, eat them, kill them to shreds oh come on, you are powerful enough, just one bite, one precious bite from HIS FACE!!!!!!!!! MWHAHAHAAAAA WOOOOOF!!!! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWL!!!!!!
Yes. You can see why he's edgy.
Backstory: He used to live in an apartment with his mom, but when he morphed into a wolf, he, well, let's just say his mom isn't here right now. He couldn't control his power, and was really frightened of what he could do until he found Mr. X.
Other: He can street fight really well.
I will only be able to post on Friday (Iffy), Saturday (DEFENITELY), Sunday (DEFENITELY), and Monday (Probably), since my swimming takes up quite a lot of my week's time.
Note: I LOVE Medusa. She is the saddest Greek Monster ever, her story is amazing. I totally was probably gonna choose her for my character, but St. Owl, you got to her first. =)

I love xmen! Storm is my personal favorite, after Gambit. So my Charrie will sorta be based off her.
Name: Cleo Hartsworth.
Mutant name: Daisy (I'm so creative!)
Age: 16
Level: 2
Class: I'm sorry, I don't know exactly what you mean by this. I can't look it up, either.
Powers: can control/grow/use plants, even in the sea although she can't breathe underwater.
Appearance: blond hair braided with daisies, a short tight green dress with a Daisy belt, get the idea? Green eyes.
Personality: sweet but terrified of her powers. Doesn't use them if she can help it and has trouble controlling them when she's angry (not often) or nervous (often).
Backstory: hazy. All people can guess is that she might've ran away from an abusive family who used her and has been oh her own, trying to survive ever since. Professor X found her and brought her to the school, which is the closest thing she can call home. She doesn't talk about herself or her life, much. P.S. She survived fine because she could grow herself fruit and such.

Name: Angela Carston
Mutant Name: Balance
Age: 17
Level: 3
Class: Alpha
Powers: She can create and alter the gravity fields surrounding her. For example, if she concentrated, she could keep an opponant stuck to the ground by raising the gravity surrounding them. Or she could jump very high by lowering the gravity surrounding her.
Appearence: She has long thick dark brown hair that she keeps in a braid down her back, and dark skin. Her eyes are a piercing green, and she has very high cheekbones. Angie's very tall and skinny. She wears dark blue skinny jeans, and a long, three quarter length sleeved green shirt.
Personality: She's laid back and calm, and always tries to keep the peace. She smiles a lot, and stays calm in bad situations. Sometimes she compromises a little too much.
Backstory: She was born into a weathly family, and has one older sister. They were always very close, and even when her family discovered what she could do, they excepted her. Even so, she was nervous, and convinced her family to let her go to Proffesor X's school.
I may have gotten the level or class wrong. It was hard to figure out the information on classes.

Appearance: White-blonde hair, VERY bright green eyes, pale. Wears simple tshirts and shorts.
Personality: A lot like Jean Grey; very smart, cares about her friends like a mother, calm.
Backstory: Refuses to talk about it...
