Okay, how about this: 

It is 20 years in the future. After a devastating unexpected series of natural catastrophies, humans are almost completly wiped out. (Technology hasn't really evolved much.)

In a small house where Ohio was, you are reading a book, while preparing toast. Instead of toast popping up, there is a note.

Meet me at the red stained glass windows in the wreck of the chapel, or else you will be cursed. After dinner, you head down. One person is standing there, leading a gathering. She informs you that you and your families are in danger, from a deadly group, the, (insert your comparison, like, say, some terrorist group or whatever.) of today. She offers you a place in rebellion, with people from all over the world. This will endanger you, and the small group fighting against this evil. You except.

Age:  14

Personality: Celestica is quiet but brave and fierce. Many people underestimate her because of her size, and she HATES that. Slightly shy andvery witty.

Appearance: She has shoulder length red curly hair, that is as thick as anything. Her eyes are a dark, curious brown and her skin is kind of pale. Is short and thin, with extremely light colored freckles.

Background/Country: Comes from Russia. Normal background.

Weapon: Wits. (But for real-a crystal dagger, sturdier than concrete. She found it in an abandoned building when she was 7, and her parents still don'tknow she has it.)
