Because I've been watching the cringe-worthy XY and want to make one.
In this RP, all of the regions have been blended together into one, meaning all pokemon, gym leaders, cities, and anything else exist. Our characters are all trainers, but they don't have to be beginning their journey.
As for battles, I would prefer that we kept them at a minimum, and NOT against other RPers. It's too difficult to not god-mod and give yourself the glory, and even if we did do it perfectly fairly, that would mean a lot of one-sentence posts clogging up the thread. If someone has an alternative I'd be happy to hear it.
Please make sure your charrie isn't OP! Five pokemon maximum, and only two can be at their final evolution. If there are other circumstances (ie your charrie is a gym leader), just check with me and make sure it's okay.

If you would like to use the Pokemon avatar creator for your appearance, that's fine.
For the "Pokemon Owned" charrie sheet, feel free to write down any special things about the Pokemon, like a nickname.
And status-- as I've had questions about this before-- basically means the level your character is currently at. Have they just begun their journey, or is this their third year as a trainer?

Name: Venice Costa
Gender: F

Appearance: Once this gets posted I'll share a pic.
Personality: Venice does her best to be patient and understanding, and genuinly cares about people. She's the kind of person who is almost annoyingly optomistic, even though she has a mean temper. She's also tough and determined, a go-get-'em sort of gal.
Pokemon owned: She's a fire-type trainer, and owns a Combusken, Growlithe, Ponyta, and Ninetails. Currently, she's searching for an Eevee to evolve into Flareon.
Status: Has been travelling for a year.
Backstory: Her uncle was a Pokemon breeder, so she grew up with Pokemon of all types. She always felt herself drawn towards fire-types and wants to be a gym leader some day.

I really hope this doesn't die. I love Pokémon but RPs about it always seem to sink away.
Name: Miro Keltani
Gender: M
Age: 16
Appearance: Messy black hair, soft blue eyes, tall and lean, likes wearing the colors teal and white and always has a great smile. Wears a sapphire-blue bandana tied around his head.
Personality: Sweet, charming, kind and helpful, can come off as a bit clumsy or awkward but genuinely just wants everyone to have a good time. Not afraid to defend anyone, even complete strangers (or occasionally) the other side. And actually, I should mention he's not a battler-- he's a contest competant! He's never fought a battle in his life, and perhaps that hinders him. Or does it? He would never hurt anyone, Pokémon or human.
Pokémon Owned: His starter and main Pokémon is a Oshawott (Nicknamed: Shalot), a Meowth (Nicknamed: Riri), a Riolu (Nicknamed: Blu), and a Cinccino (Nicknamed: Ellhi).
Status: He's been on the road for just a few months. Not new, but no experienced traveller.
Backstory: His mother worked as a field researcher, so he'd often go out with her and play with wild Pokémon. Once, though, he tried to go up to a Sandslash his mother was investigating and got a terrible scar on his right shoulder. He hides it with his shirt and feels ashamed if anyone sees it.

Appearance: Long black hair, green eyes, pale
Personality: Quiet, reserved, cold. Very smart. Have you seen the episodes with the gym leader Sabrina? Sirana is Sabrina's daughter and now runs the Saffron City gym.
Pokemon owned: Espeon, Alakazam, Gardevoir, Abra, and... A MUDKIP (one of these things is not like the other)
Status: Powerful psychic, revered by all in Saffron City.
Backstory: Doesn't want to say. Will glare if you ask.
Other: Does have telekinesis... but has enough personal flaws to make up for it.

Maybe we could come up with some sort of point system ...? I have a couple of ideas ...
Name: Sayuri Fujita, Yuri for short.
Gender: F
Age: 15
Appearance: She has LOOONG black hair done up in two buns which turn into ponytails, big brown eyes, and wears pink and purple and other girly colors.
Personality: Very sweet and easy-going, will talk to just about anyone with a passion for Pokemon. She battles a LOT, although if the opponent's pokemon is just TOO cute, she'll lend them a revive and potion or two. She enjoys contests, games, catching Pokemon, and pretty much everything in-between.
Pokemon owned: Her starter is a Torchic, which should at any time now evolve from a Combusken into a Blaziken (Torchy). She also has an Eevee which she's working on leveling up before evolving it into (hopefully) an Umbreon (Shadow). Her other Pokemon are a Manectric (Zap), Hounour (Hermes), and a Kangaskhan (Roo).
Status: Two years, but she's had Torchy for four years now.
Backstory: Her family has always been really into traveling, and seeing new Pokemon, so when given a Mach bike ... she was gone from the town an hour after she got it.
Other: Nah.

Also, I think I'd rather have Venice travel alone . . . ? She meets people periodically though.

For this RP, I said it in the description, the max amount of Pokemon your charrie may have is five. Only two can be final evolution unless there are intruding circumstances.

Backstory: Mother used to be a fire type gym leader so she has had her two pokemon since she was little. has only just gotten her pokedex though so very new to traveling. She wants to collect every available award for pokemon that she can, including ribbons, badges, etc.
i will give her more pokemon as i continue writing, i just couldent think of anything.
