Since the scorching dragons and gryphons have lived in harmony with another. But after a gruesome attack to a Gryphon hatchery; presumably caused by dragons. King Stone-eyes has pronounced war on them. Each side is fighting equally with no definite sighn at who as the upper talon. All the more reason for bloodshed.
Now fifteen years later Everglade of the gryphons started a rebellion against the war. Behind her is a tie of both tribes all striving for one thing. Peace.

To everyone else, this is a new RP where I will be testing a new idea. In most of the threads I join the posts are like this.

I watched as Timmy fell down the well.
Undoubtedly they're longer and more descriptive but my point is they don't move the story along.
Which of course leads to less activity which then death and obliteration.
Which is why I'm making a rule.
Post in a way that keeps our story moving. Not a retelling of something we know already happened.
Ex.
Right way:
Timmy fell down the well.
I grabbed a rope out of my bag and pulled Timmy back up from the well.
Capiche? Capiche.
So our charries will start loyal to Everglade and then meet and the RP will branch out from there.
Rules:
1. No op charries; Be creative! But don't make a dragon who can swallow whole galaxies in one gulp. Meaning- you can have the abilities of the dragons in WoF but keep it simple. No swimming sandwings.
2. No shape shifters
3. Only dragons and Gryphons
4. SCAVENGERS!!!!! totally going off of WoF right now so Scavengers are totally allowed!
5. The appearances of the dragons vary but if you want to go off a WoF dragon that's totally fine.
6. You may make as many charries as you so wish but let at least one be a boy, thanx.

Abilities: Incredible stealth; venomous fangs lodged inside beak

Appearance: Short eared owl head with huge yellow eyes; serval body. Long limphid claws glittering with precious gems; beautiful tattooed wings reaching past her tail; (will post pic)
Personality: Sarcastic and a little snarky; incredibly loyal to Everglade.
Relationships: She NEEDS a crush, or at least someone who dotes on her...
Other: Idk.
Name: Batsight
Gander: M
Abilities: Unknown
Gryphon/Dragon: Mix
Appearance: Harpy eagle head stippled with silver scales, large batlike wings shivering with feathers. Beautiful horns curling like snail shells on either side of his head.
Personality: Cowardly and introvert. Hates everyone and everything for no particular reason.
Relationships: ?
Other: meh

Gender: F
Abilities: An average rainwing, scales constalantly shift colors; can shoot venuom; prehensile tail.
Gryphon/Dragon: Dragon
Appearance: Rainwing- so ya...
Personality: Bubbly and extrovert, personality will grow.
Relationships: She has a new crush every few minutes but if someone wants to, we can give her like an official crush...

Yay its up! Im also making a general for the Gryphon armies so I can get the plot moving when I need to.
Note: This is a shared charrie, meaning anyone can post as him when needed. So ya. Go ahead and post as him!

Gender: M
Abilities: One of the few gryphons who can kill with a blink of an eye, Though after years alone he has presumably learned to control his power but still refuses to use it in battle.
Gryphon/Dragon: Gryphon
Appearence: Dusky Fishing eagle head and lion body; Silvery mane around neck that bleeds down his spine and chest, huge serrated claws the same color as his blood red eyes.
Personality: Tough and guarded on the outside but deep down hes a nervous wreck; constantly worrying about his powers and what they might do to his tribe.
Relationships: He's Everglade's father but he hasnt admitted it to anyone, lying to everyone that his chick died at birth.
Other: Blurgh.

Of course! The main thing I want to get rid of is basing THE WHOLE POST off something that already happened. But if you want to start your post that way go ahead!

Abilities: he can basicaly bland with shadows and he can controll/summon fire.
Gryphon/Dragon: Gryphon
Appearance: he is all black with bloodredeyes, white talons and a yellow beack (i want him to get scarred by a dragon l8r so he will have a scar on his right eye going vertical.)
Personality: Guarded, Kind, Sweet, helpful, always gets into trouble, dreamboat.
Relationships: ( Kaleidoscope Gryphon i am here 4 u) he has a crush on cloudbreacker and the rest of his family is dead

Name: Heartbeat
Gender: Male
Abilities: Controls wind and air (meaning he can create wind and control it to where he wants it to go) but isn't that... great at it...
Gryphon/Dragon: Both! ...If that's okay, I mean. He was a hybird born to lovers who were basically like Crowfeather and Leafpool-- had a fling, didn't turn out well. He was brought up with the gryphons, but wasn't really accepted as one... he didn't have a lot of friends when he was young.
Appearance: An eagle's head, but a dragon's back half with claws, scales and a long dragon tail. One bat wing and one bird wing, which makes it hard for him to fly well. He does have a beak but it has sharp teeth on the inside. Black feathers and gray-silver scales and wings. A golden beak. His eyes are technically magenta, but comically imagine them as hearts all the time.
Personality: TOTAL dreamer and lover. Has crushes everywhere and especially a huge one on Cloudbreaker (answered, KG!) Desperately wants to prove his worth and place in gryphon society. and it's impossible for him to say a negative word about anyone. Innocent, guillible, naive and trusting. If there's anything anyone says about stopping the war, he wants to be in on it. Might not seem that skilled--and maybe he'd not very skilled--but he is kind and sweet. Comes off kind of strong, though.
Relationships: No permanent ones, but flirts with everyone.
Other: He's not the chosen one... but he wants to be...

Great everyone! And @Tyberious and CL, what about a love triangle between Darkflight, Heartbeat and Cloudbreaker?
Also @CL, maybe since Batsight and Heartbeat are both hybrids but have totally different personality could we make them like totally hate each other? Just a thought:)
I'm also making the general for the dragons as it would be nice to know what was going on on both sides.

Gender: F
Abilities: She's an icewing so ice breath, whip thin tail and nearly impenetrable scales.
Appearance: Bluish grey scales rippling with white like ocean waves, aquamarine threads spider webbing between the membranes of her wings; long serrated claws.
Personality: Rough and fierce, her mind is constantly clicking through likely enemies and dangers and teh best way to eliminate them.
Relationships: Her son is Batsight but of course no one knows since if she was found out to mate with a gryphon she'd be outlawed at best.
Other: She is also a shared carries so anyone can post as her.
Oh and I drew Cloudbreaker so here she is...

@Kaleidoscope Gryphon, sure that sounds fine to me! Although, I don't know if Heartbeat could 'hate' someone, persay... maybe he just doesn't like Batsight that much. Also, the love triangle sounds fine to me. *devious writer smile*

This looks pretty good, actually.... um.... er..... Im reading the Wings Of Fire books at the moment, (Not, like, the first five books but way up into that phase of-haing-just-finished-Darkstalker-so-hyped-up-oh-my-gandalf-faints) so this will be very interesting. JOINING MWHAHAAAAAA
*Note: I cant use that dang thingy for contractions as it always turns into è right now. Typing on a laptop so OF COURSE it mucks me up. grrrrr.*
Name: (WOF related) Obsidian
Gender: Male.
Abilities: He has black talons that burn as well as slash, however, if he just touches someone with his talons, he doesnt burn them. He is very nimble with his talons and can create intricate things using them. He can rip and slash with his teeth, which are very sharp.
Gryphon/Dragon: Dragon hybrid, he is a Mudwing crossed with a Sandwing. His parents were a Sandwing and a Mudwing Sandwing Hybrid, so he is more Sandwing than Mudwing.
Appearance: Imagine a Sandwing overlapped with a Mudwing. Now, make the colour a light brown with undertones of sandy yellow, smooth out the muscles, make the mouth more Sandwing, and take away the barb at the end of the tail. His eyes are a bright green, and his wings are big.
Personality: He is shy around dragons he doesnt know, but is pretty quick to anger if someone insults his friends. Hes an especially good fighter, but doesnt usually do it since as soon as he slashes someone, the heat from his talons immediately cauterises the wound, pretty much making his talons useless from a fighting point of view.
Relationships: None. He doesnt have any friends left since most of them died from the war, and ever since he deserted the army, he stays clear of other dragons.
Other: He faught in the war until it was too much for him, so now he wanders the land just trying to survive and not get killed.
I hope that next time I post it will NOT be on a dum laptop. Hoping that this thing doesnèt die. =)

Wings of Fire, its a series about, dragons, war, treasure and stuff. But you don't need to be a WOF dragon! Let your imaghination run wild!
Also @Tyberious, could you please make your charries less op? I like that one is phsicic but its not really fair to have a phsic dragon and one that can control/summon fire. So maybe Darkflight can just blow fire? Thanx.

Gryphon/Dragon: she is a dragon but she was raised by Gryphons she has been avoided at all costs and they are very rude to her. (that makes her selfconshus)
Appearance: TEH PICK
Personality: she is mainly an extrovert and is outgoing but around heartbeat she becomes shy but she is very funny and sometimes flirts back when he flirts with her.
Relationships: she has a big crush on heartbeat
