Harry Potter RP

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Harry Potter RP

Harry Potter RP

We have not done this in like a thousand years!!!!!!!!! I am craving a Harry Potter RP So I decided to make one. But, there are rules......

Rules:

1) Have Fun!!!!

2) No outrageous magic. But you can have like, parseltongue but only if you are in Slytherin.

3) Don't be like "OMG! VOLDEMORT IS COMING!" Because we are doing time line when Voldemort was Tom Riddle, and Harry's Parents, and Snape are in their 1st year.

That is all the rules, also in #3 it says the RP is in Harry's Parents first year, and they are in there first year. Tom Riddle is in his 5th year. Ron's parents are in their 4th year, they were both a couple years older than the Potters. And that is all! Please follow my charrie.

Name: Jasmine

What year: 3rd

Aren Rustle~

Mary and I sit side by side in the train playing exploding snap. The cards were a special deck in the Slytherin colors. I never liked the prejudice against Slytherin. Sure there were jerks in our house but some Slytherins are amazing (like Mary) They also say that all Slytherins care only about themselves. That's wrong, it's just harder for us to make friends, but when we do, we will kill for them.

The train is just about ready to leave and everyone else is still scrambling to find seats. The compartment door slides open and a girl pokes her head in, "can I sit in here?"

Anyone can be this person.

Rasmus---

As I try to find a compartment on the train (it's not my fault the trolley got stuck halfway through the barrier!), I hum to myself quietly. The train nearly started without me! I really must get over thinking I'll crash into that barrier.

I look into a compartment and see Heather's inside.

I walk in promptly. "Hello! How are you?"

"Rasmus! Good to see you!" We haven't seen each other since spring, and we start an animated conversation with each other, talking about Grindlewald, Hogwarts, the heatwave that hit Little Hangleton that summer, and other things. It isn't until about five minutes later that I notice the orange-haired girl opposite us.

She looks at me lazily, and Heather stiffens, for whatever reason I don't know.

"You."

"Me? What about me?" I can feel my face slowly turning pink.

"Are you a mudblood-"

"Muggleborn." Heather stands up, and I do too, but only to hold her back.

"Are you?" The girl stares at me, and I realize she hasn't been Sorted yet. Her robes don't sport any house color on the insides of the arm sleeves.

"No..." I feel very awkward.

"Does it matter?" Heather looks fit to explode.

The girl doesn't listen. She's feeding her owl.

Heather sits down. "I sincerely hope that girl is not in my house," she whispers into my ear.

In my mind I hope she doesn't get Sorted into mine either.

Heather-

Rasmus and I start playing exploding snap and eating sweets, hoping that if we just ignore her, she'll go away. Which wasn't very nice when you think about it, but then again, she's not very nice.

Suddenly, the door slides open and we see Rasmus' friend Margeret, smiling at us in crooked sort of smile.

"Where nearly there!" She grins, excitedly. She is already wearing her black and blue billowing hogwarts robes. "I'd get changed if I were you.. Has anybody seen a toad" she adds, laughing. Rasmus sighs and rolls his eyes.

"She does this to me every year."

Finally, as we arrive at the beautiful, massive, towering Hogwarts School For Witchcraft and Wizedry. We tuck the rest of our every flavoured beans and chocolate frogs cards in our pocket (I got McGonagal, twice).

We step up to the invisable horse-drawn carriages and ride off into the night. Finally, we are home.

I gazed out at hogwarts, as we head into the great hall. It was familiar as ever, yet different. Everyone was whispering, talking about their younger siblings excitedly and other random topics.

McGonagall called for attention, and she began the sorting...

Well, I feel to have failed. For one, people hate me ALREADY. For asking such a simple question as BLOOD STATUS. I promised my mom I wouldn't sit next to any mudbloods, and here I am, sitting DIRECTLY next to a Mudblood who appears to wish to slaughter me.

I toy with my wand after that, as the booth starts to talk--

And then Hogwarts appears. It's glorious as they said it would be, with towers and oh. oh, it's just like a castle.  Every bit of it...I pray that I'll be sorted to Gryffindor.

"Well, here it is. My mom said that Salzar Slytherin wanted only Purebloods to attend." I announce, and I'm met with glares from the car.

I blush. "Well, it is interesting to learn about school history, almost like a story. The different beliefs of the founders were definitely interesting to read about, and it is strange that they didn't share the same belief that Mudbloods can't have as much talent, since they were born from a long line of people who didn't have any. My mother says that it's interesting that mudbloods were allowed to school at all, since she considers it as bad as if a muggle were let inside of the castle. Truthfully, I think they still count as wizards (although they are MUCH lower class than purebloods),  but their muggle relatives could be a danger to the secrecy of wizard communities--" I babble.

"Shut it." Rasmus mutters.

I glare at him sharply, and then leave the compartment, huffing to myself and muttering about mudblood standards, picking up my items and preparing to go into the boats to Hogwarts and get sorted to Gryffindor.

But when I get to Hogwarts, it is not Gryffindor I will get into.

Um, KittyLover, Snape's in his first year, and Trelawney probably hasn't started attending Hogwarts yet, let alone started teaching... Sorry.

Rasmus--- I sit down at my table and Heather sits down at hers. The purist girl has gotten in line with all the others. My friends are talking to each other in lowered voices, but I look at the new students. I make it into a game, guessing which house each'll go to.

The first student looks to be a Hufflepuff, then there's a Gryffindor, and another, then a Slytherin, and another Hufflepuff, and a Ravenclaw. The next three look like Ravenclaws as well, suprisingly.

Then there's her. She's not worried at all like some of the other students, her hair all frizzy and tangled, her eyes looking straight ahead, occasionally flitting to the Gryffindor table, where Heather is. Does the girl want to be in Gryffindor, or is she planning the death of my friend?

Anyhow, I need to guess her House. At first I think Slytherin, but then---

Ravenclaw? Do I really think she'll be in Ravenclaw?

But it makes sense. She's all about the castle's history-just like me and some of my friends, she likes reading, and she knows a lot. But I thought...

Oh well. Maybe Ravenclaw is the right house for her.

I just don't want her in the common room, interrogating us on blood status.
