HELLO INTERNET PEOPLES OF THE INTERNET! My name is Not An Admin, and I have an Ask Admins thread here! I am another CBer on cricket, but I thought I'd go undercover today. *Cue spy music* anyway.... It's been soooo long since I've seen an ask Admins thread, so I've decided to make one! Everyone, let's just have fun and talk with some Admins!
So Admins, did you all have a great time over the holidays? What was your favorite part?

Oooh, thank you! How thoughtful of you. I was just sitting here hungry and thinking about chocolate! I think I'll make some hot chocolate to go with them. You can never have too much chocolate.

So Admins, what's it like BEING an Admin. I want to be one when I grow up! You get to sit at a computer and help kids all day! That sounds like fun to me, plus this is a website about art, so you get to see and read all of these amazing creations! What's it like?
It's really fun most of the time! I enjoy reading what you write, laughing about your silly jokes, and figuring out what's best for everyone when there are fights. All of the Admins also edit the magazines as well (there are eleven magazines, but only three of us!). One Admin only works on Cricket and the other two work on the other literary magazines. I work on science as well! I spend a lot of time in magazine meetings; commenting on art, stories, and poetry; and even writing for some of the magazines. Being an Admin is only a small part of what I do. ~Admin

Woah. That sounds amazing! That's really cool how you all do so many different things. I can tell it's a HUGE commitment though. That's cool how you work on science! What kind of things do you do?
Well, I spend a lot of my time proofreading, editing, writing, judging contests, posting to the CB, testing out crafts and activities (and experiments and recipes!). I tried a cornbread recipe for Spider 4 times at home in my kitchen to get it JUST right. ~Admin

Nope! We just use Admin. And yes, I like to monitor threads where people are arguing to make sure that things don't get out of hand. I monitored Mei's debate threads and the LGBTQAI+ argument posts VERY carefully. ~Admin

What made you guys want to start Kyngdom? Where did you get the idea for the story prompt (The letter from BIG), the Powers, and the Power Guardians? What about cypher?
We wanted to start some new creative project on the website and the specifics were formed after collaboration among the editors. Group brainstorming.

No, we just review and submit. I think where a thread goes has been predetermined with the setup of the website. Sort of like, "Round and round and round it goes, and where it stops nobody knows."

I can't say if I prefer fiction or nonfiction. I like reading good stories and adventures and there are many in each of these categories. I like historical fiction (where I learn about life in other times), all kinds of adventures, and mysteries.

What was the worst argument/war that the CBers ever had? You don't have to answer this, but I've only been around since May 2016 and I want to learn more.
Oh, I don't know which debate may have had the strongest dissention. They're all in the past. I prefer to focus on how proud we admins are that you wise and wonderful CBers do such a great job of respecting the opinions of others and resolving any conflicts that may arise on your own.

Are you much of a writer yourself, like some of the CBers here? Or even a published author? Sorry, lots of questions, but do you like doing art as well?
No, I don't write a lot. And I don't draw or paint pictures, but I do enjoy some crafts. I spend more time and effort, though, on musical endeavors.
